“The cottage house had a warm, welcoming vibe to it. It was very well maintained. The grounds were beautiful. The home had everything available that you could possibly want. It was very cozy. We had relatives from Italy with us and they absolutely loved it. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend it. Congratulations to the owners, because they have done a wonderful job with it.”

“We had a lovely weekend stay for a quick family get-away. The main kitchen and living area has spectacular views onto the lake as does the deck where we spent most of our time. The lake is just across the very quiet street. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, the host super responsive and the rooms very comfortable. We did not use the well equipped basement work-out and additional TV space but it looked great. Easy to get to grocery store, hikes, local attractions but honestly we just loved……

“Our stay at The Barn in New York was unforgettable. This luxury home, converted from a barn and situated at the end of a back road, is surrounded by 50 acres of picturesque fields and has every amenity. With many restaurants a short drive away and only 20 minutes to Great Barrington, MA, and Hudson, NY, we were never short on dining options and The Prairie Whale was our favorite and also dog friendly. The area offered endless adventures with hiking trails, antique stores, galleries, and outdoor……

“We had a great stay while skiing for 2 days at nearby Catamount ski resort. The kitchen and house were fully stocked with all essentials. Netflix access enabled us to enjoy a family movie after a long day of skiing. Cozy house and quiet area.......nice to wake up to hear birds chirping!!”

“Very nicely renovated house. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Large comfy living and dining room. Very responsive hosts. Only suggestion would be to provide a few more hooks in the bathrooms for guests to hang personal things (night clothes, used towels, etc.). I would highly recommended this place.”

“Our family had the pleasure of staying at this home during our child’s graduation from the nearby Berkshire school. It was the perfect situation for us in an idyllic setting very close to the campus. The home is over 250 years old and has been lovingly updated. The kitchen has seemingly all new appliances and gorgeous wood plank countertops with an adjacent windowed sitting area with a large hearth. The old and new are beautifully combined. “This is a beautiful older home and I loved its charm. The wrap around porch is so quaint. However, the listing mentioned steep staircase but not to the extent that it was actually unsafe for my elderly parents. You can literally step out of the bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor and tumble down the stairs as the stairs don’t match up to the doorways. There is a bedroom on the 1st floor but the bed is pushed against the all so again my mother couldn’t get out. Also there are only 2 claw foot……
