“Our first time to Beaufort and we stayed at the City Loft Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff and convenient access to our room. The location is spot on if you want to walk the sites of downtown. We'll definitely make this a top stay for us next visit”

“Excellent spacious room, parking, good breakfast options, safe, centrally located in Beaufort & a swimming pool as well (tho it was a little dusty due adjacent road works). Only minor error was the absence of mirror with decent light outside of bathroom setup, the ladies will winge, fellas who cares?”

“Bay Inn is right downtown, 2 min walk to shops and restaurants. Perfect location witha beautiful view of the river. Highly recommend!”

“The shower had lots of mold and the floor was dirty! My friends room had filthy curtains, dust on all over baseboards and wall. You pay too much for this unkept Inn. They need to do a deep clean!! Cleanliness is everything! I would give 5 stars if they would clean the rooms! ”

“A little old but the experience was great for the price. Room was clean and the room had everything we needed. ”

“Front desk did not answer the phone. Pillows thrown at the bottom of the bed- no pillow cases on them. A pair of socks had been left on a shelf. Shampoo and lotion pumps almost empty. No hot water- barely warm in the shower. Of the 3 front desk employees we had contact with, only one was pleasant. Need to get their act together.”

“Thank you Katie and Janell for your willingness to ensure that every guest had a great experience. As for the property it looked very drab and unkept. The indoor pool was not available. There was only one elevator working and it was not in good condition. If the grounds and the amenities matched the level of the staff it would be a great spot to recommend for travelers.”

“ The rooms were OK but the bed was not comfortable. The Carolina Room restaurant food was average and the service was terrible, very slow and not attentive. Very pricy. Menu needs to be reworked.”

“The room was clean, beds comfortable, and quiet enough for restful sleep. We did not use the gym or partake in the breakfast but the coffee/drink station in the lobby was well stocked and clean. Definitely will stay again. ”
