“It's a large, clean room. The location is in ideal country setting, close to all the Hickory area has to offer. The host were attentive and responsive to any of our concerns. The only advice I would offer is have a couple of comfortable chairs and perhaps a microwave. Would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend.”

“Great family home!! Our large family traveled 900 miles to celebrate our youngest son’s graduation and Holy Cow Farms accommodated all our needs!! From the bedrooms to bathrooms to pool and fire pit, we enjoyed all aspects of this beautiful home. Getting to feed the cows was a big hit as well. Stunning sunsets and very engaged hosts made this stay so relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family! Thank you Turner Family for a wonderful getaway!!”

“We were having a day trip to Gastonia for Thanksgiving and just needed a place to crash, we weren’t expecting it to be so conveniently located (2 minutes from my grandmothers house!) It’s very compact. Think split 1 bed but it was all wee needed! Very clean and very easy to find. I’d 100% stay again!”

“This basement apartment was very clean & met our needs. They offered several complimentary items: water, coffee, tea, toiletries & had snacks for purchase by the honor system method. The owners are right upstairs but we’re very quiet & located in a quiet neighborhood. Our van was loaded down & we drug bottom quite badly as we entered & exited their steep driveway so they allowed us to park on the street in front of their house. We would stay here again if the need arose & if we didn’t need a……

“The place was very clean and acommidable. Neighbors were noisy, but thats the chance you take. Coffee was provided but no cream or sugar. The beds were huge and tvs in the bedrooms was a nice touch. Great experience in all!”

“The frame on the bed came apart, dumping the futon onto the floor. The closet is so small, I had to drag the futon outside to re-set the wheels into their tracks on the frame. The shower is an absolute joke - it dribbles. The silverware trays have a year of crumbs and filth in them. I am 5'10", 225 pounds and could barely execute stool paperwork due to insanely tight quarters in the bathroom. You better bring a 4WD vehicle so you can get in and out of the mountainside driveway slot! The faux……

“We had a short trip for a graduation at Gardner Webb and to move our daughter out. This was such a nice surprise stay. Cute, cozy, and very clean! Would definitely stay again!”

“The property overlooks a beautiful lake where we enjoyed seeing the geese, a crane, and even a turkey visit. The house provided great space for us and our dogs. The kids loved the game room. It is a convenient getaway with Shelby just a few minutes away and Gardner-Webb University being about 25 minutes away. Definitely will come back.”
