“Everyone in our family loved Shelter Cove, and the house really brought it all together. Amazing location, with 180 degree ocean views that never get old. We hung out on the top floor almost the whole time, we really really enjoyed it. The town itself is so serene and relaxing, and has an awesome small town feel. Everyone waves, stops to chat, and seems genuinely happy to be there. ”

“Loved the house! Super cute and spacious, great kitchen, option to use the garage was great, everything! Only slight complaint is all the beds feel like basically the same fairly hard foam which I didn’t really like, but otherwise it was an almost perfect stay. Will definitely think about staying again if I can make it back to Shelter Cove.”

“The house was perfect for our needs. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had every appliance known to man, and the views were spectacular. We would definitely come back! Notes for Shelter Cove: visit the Black Sand Beach and the tide pools below the lighthouse. Monitor the tides for the best times to go. Surf Point Coffeehouse has fantastic breakfast and lunch. Gyppo Ale Mill was our choice for two dinners and has a great cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich, French fries, and limeade.”

“This is my second year to stay at Comfort Cove for the annual "Gimme Shelter" (GS) kayak fishing tournament and community event. I came back because my experience last year was so positive. Last year I was here solo, this year my wife came along. It's close to the activities near the campground meeting pavilion and boat launch. My wife says she loves that king size bed. The view is great. We discovered a new nearby restaurant, the Surf Point Coffee Shop & Bistro for breakfasts and lunch and……

“I think this is a rare find. There are three bedroom with queen/king beds (rather than rooms with twin beds) on three different floors. This was perfect for our family with three adult couples and one three year old. The toys were a hit with our 3 year old. There are even discreet safety gates on the stairs.The main floor has plenty of room and the kitchen works well. The house is spacious. The house looks newly remodeled and really works well! “We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and comfortable. The view from the rear deck is wonderful. Our only disappointment was that the outdoor couch featured in the photos was not usable since cushions were nowhere to be found. And the deck chairs are pretty rickety. The grill could use some attention. Overall, a great place. ”

Just the right amount of furnishings to feel like home, but minimalist so it didn’t feel like you were actually in someone’s home. Hard surface flooring throughout, with no carpet, which we appreciated. Everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom was there. The location was safe and made us feel like locals. We’d stay here again. ”
