“We came into town to see a show at Charles Town Casino. The location was perfect! We loved the view of the river. The home was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed a great dinner at Mi Dellagado and an excellent breakfast at the Mountain View Diner. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.”

“This was our second time traveling to the area and staying at this house. Great place to stay. House was clean, lots of room for multiple guests. Nice pool and hot tub in the yard. There’s also a nice covered outdoor patio with a TV for hanging out, outside. Owner is very responsive and good to deal with. I will definitely stay again when in the area.”

“The property was just down a gravel road that any car could tackle, one of our group had a Prius. In a just perfectly slight remote area of WV. Just far enough off the beaten path. There were some noisy dogs but they weren’t out all the time. The roosters crowing in the distance was definitely better than hearing a V8 engine screaming down the road and we liked that part. Some people had 4 wheelers out here and there but we didn’t see them just head them and it wasn’t overbearing or constant at……

We greatly appreciated the free Netflix especially since ti rained during part of our stay. The location is ideal for our weekend adventures.”

“We had a lovely stay in this beautiful Harpers Ferry home. It was so amazing to stay in the historical area and be close and able to walk to all the National Park sites. We were most attracted to that lovely porch and enjoyed our coffee there in the early morning, watching the town come to life. We also liked afternoons reading and napping there and an evening glass of wine after dinner. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, the furniture and beds were very comfortable. “Property manager was great and gave us a lot of great tips for a weekend in Harpers Ferry. Found out she has some other rentals that we liked also. We will definitely look these up first when we return. Suggestions The Rabbit Hole was a great place to eat! And The Barn was a great place for night entertainment and drink. Would highly recommend this gem.”

“We chose the Dome for our week long stay due to it's proximity to the state parks in northern Virginia, AND we'd choose to stay her again. We visited several new establishments, breweries, distilleries, and restaurants that have popped up or have missed since moving to central Virginia. We were out of the house everyday and then most nights came back and turned in for the evening. We couldn't zone out in front of the TV on the main living area because there isn't one. There is one downstairs……

“The schoolhouse was like stepping back in time. I loved all the special touches and attention to detail! The place was very clean and comfortable with an excellent mattress! The neighborhood was quiet and the location was perfect for us as we were visiting our son in Charles Town but also wanted some time in Shepherdstown. “The house was so much more beautiful and bigger in person than I realized from photos! The location is such an easy walk down into town. The host checked in with me several times to make sure I was doing okay and didn't need anything. Would book again!”

“A perfect location in Frederick. The Carroll Creek Canal is right behind the house and is beautifull! Aaron gave us excellent recommendations as to where to visit and eat. The house is older but clean, tidy and comfortable. We did use the kitchen to cook and gave Aaron a few pointers to improve what he had for utensils. Overall, I would come back again. Thanks Aaron”

“My company, Mettle Events, Inc. are the timers for the Frederick Running Festival, and we like to stay in rentals vs. hotels. The Cabin was perfect! Clean, off-street parking, walkable location to restaurants & breweries, five minutes to our job site (the fairgrounds) and I loved that everything was labeled! the house rules were clear and easy to understand, and the price was right! We will definitely be returning to The Cabin!”

“The tiny house is exactly as described. Its small, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location right on the river is fantastic. Being able to have a fire right by the water each night was such a plus. In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive. We will be staying again!!”
