"We had an extremely pleasant stay in Fujisawa at this Super Hotel. In short summary, this was the best hotel we stayed in during our family trip in Japan, and we stayed in around six other hotels ranging from typical business style to a more expensive traditional island retreat, so I do not make this comparison lightly.
PROS:
- Natural hot spring. The bath area was smaller than expected, but the water quality was amazing and my skin felt so smooth after.
- Wonderful breakfast buffet with great nutritional variety and the staff was extremely courteous. In the afternoon, drinks became available and while I did not try the alcohol, I loved the syrups and soda machine to make mocktails with my family. Fun!!
- The default pillow in my room had this plastic straw filling that was amazing. My neck absolutely loved it and I am very picky. You can try different pillows from lobby too.
- Very close to Fujisawa Station. It is about a two minute walk with convenience stores on the way and many shops and restaurants nearby.
CONS:
- Only one elevator, so during busy times the wait felt long.
- Mattress was quite firm, typical of Japanese hotels, and room sizes were standard/small.
- Rooms use a PIN code instead of keycards. Not horrible, but less convenient to remember code imo. Check out was so simple though I liked that.
In short: delicious breakfast, great drink options, pillow selection, natural hot spring, and unbeatable proximity to Fujisawa station made this stay so wonderful"
"Courteous and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, easy access to and from the airport, great shuttle service, nice gym, nice pool, and restaurants on site."
"Great hotel. Staff are very pleasant and kind. They have packets of tea in the lobby with a huge selection! Jasmine, chai, green, red etc you name it. Spacious rooms although the bathroom is small."
"This place is a hidden gem. It's less than 10 minutes walk (we walk pretty fast) from the Fujisawa Station. On the way, there are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store. Our room was beautiful and spacious. We stayed in one of the rooms with a lift so it felt like a 2-bedroom for our party of 3.
Be sure to stop by the coffee shop to try their caramel pudding with homemade ice cream and specialty coffees that are roasted in house!
We will definitely come back again to explore more of the nearby areas.
