"Amazing stay - couldn’t recommend more. The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful, the hotel is set in a beautiful location and the entire experience is flawless. The food is excellent as well, although it’s worth noting that both the dinner and breakfast are very generous meals - best not to eat too much beforehand! "Lovely onsen, with a sauna and an outdoor garden bath. Very friendly and dedicated staff, with limited English but no communication difficulties. It's a bit far from the action in Takayama old town, but there are some superb restaurants nearby."
