"Newly updated room with comfortable bed and pillows. Clean bathroom with plenty of hot water. The air conditioner was quiet. Great location with two restaurants across the street. Parking lot felt safe and secure. Friendly and helpful staff."

"While the owners are very kind and friendly, the property needs a lot of help. Fresh coats of paint, recoated or renovated bathrooms are needed. The beds are tidy and bedding clean, the rest of the room not so much. I'm torn between the price being good and the kind people, and my much, much different sense of clean, sterile and decent living conditions. I will not stay there again. (Maybe they purchased the property as an investment only and are just waiting out increase in property values to sell. Where the hotel itself will need to be razed. Perhaps they just aren't spending money on it for that reason? But renting to folks in the meantime should require much more honesty about the condition.) "

"Hotel is older and not up to the standards I have of Holiday Inn Express. Our room had a fair amount of garbage from previous guests. It was “fine” but not for what it cost."

"There were young men hanging around everywhere. Loud music pulsating through the parking lot from open car doors. Scantily dressed women in the parking lot. Definitely not a place to take your family/children. Even though the parking lot was well lit up, there was no security or control of the situation whatsoever. I did not feel safe. I will not stayu at this franchise anywhere again."

"The hotel smelled like a gas leak. The bolt on the door was broken. The phone was dead and the pool had black mold everywhere. "
