“As this was a relevantly new establishment we weren't sure what to expect, but we had a fabulous stay. Everything was high class, from the coffee bags - not instant, to the shower/shampoo/conditioner. Towels that actually covered me, to posh 'who gives a crap' toilet paper!!We came home one afternoon to find a small punnet of strawberries in our room! “My wife and I spent a very pleasant week at Cygnet Cottage, using it as a base to explore the Northumberland Coast and local area.This particular accommodation is ideal for a couple. The living area is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen equipment all worked fine and there was an adequate supply of crockery, cutlery, and tools. The bathroom was small but perfectly usable with a decent, electric, shower. Upstairs was the bedroom with good storage facilities and a comfortable double bed……

“When I arrived, we found the property needed some upgrading, some items in the kitchen were dirty,the baking trays in the oven, one was rusty,the couch upstairs had dirt under the cushions, I asked the owner to clean it and the oven tray,but we actually clesned the kitchen ourselves.
