“Clean functional rooms. Neat snack bar and bar in communal area with okay coffee. Excellent breakfast and good value. Quiet rural location.”

“The staff were very helpful & we had an excellent cooked breakfast.”

“Nice place but the room I had was next door to a nightclub. Friday and Saturday night were really noisy. So much so that I asked to move rooms on the Saturday. To be fair this was not a problem for the staff who accommodated my request. Other than the noise late at night, no issues.”

“I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. The room and en-suite were possibly the smallest we've ever……

“One of the best B&B experience for many years. Both the accomodation and the environment is unbeatable. I will stay again if going to be in the region. ”

“Lovely gardens and good quality breakfast, cooked to order using local ingredients.”

“The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and give good advice of the area. It is a lovely walk into the town too. The food was exceptional everything of choice you could possibly wish for.”

“Rebecca is the beating heart of this place. Such a warm welcome and a fab breakfast! Stayed for 3 nights last week and had a lovely time. The b&b is closing which is sad but best of luck for the future Rebecca (and husband) wishing much success and happiness to you both!”

“Host check-in was good. Room was lovely. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of information about the hotel and location.”

“My only critism is that it was not easy to find. I was hoping to arrive in daylight but had hold ups on the motorway so it was pitch black and although Tom Tom got me to the right place there was no indication that told me where the farm house was. A few lables for the B&B would help. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay”

“The staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The meals were fantastic, with a varied menu. Foods were locally sourced. Very comfortable room and homely atmosphere.”

“The landlord has left this hotel, taking contents with him and owing money. When we arrived there were no longer rooms to let here.”

“Comfy. ”

“Very new, lovely hosts absolutely dog friendly, our dog had his own breakfast everyday! It is rural, so sometimes internet glitches, but we were there over a stormy weekend and the electric substation across the road blew up. Power was back on very quickly.”
