The amenities at the location were incredibly bare bones and there were a number of the facilities that required further payment once on site. I dealt with multiple staff and found each to be quite surly and insincere."

"We were luck enough to have an earlier check in and the check in was easy and everything ready for us on our arrival. We had ordered a breakfast hamper of local produce and all was ready in the hut. The hut was bigger than it looks and plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Everything you could think of was in the hut. We didn’t use the underfloor heating or the log burner as the hut was really warm without it. The hot tub was amazing and was so easy to use by ourselves. Doesn’t take...

"We actually stopped next door in the Foxglove hut . It was lovely and cosy and clean. There were plenty of logs for the log burner. The kitchen is next door to the hut and was adequate to cook a meal. We did try the organic veg and meat and they were very good. I would highly recommend taking food essentials as the nearest shop is about a 30min drive away and be aware that the last couple of miles of roads are not that well maintained .... all added to the remoteness of the place and the feel...
