Great two unit rental

We either overlooked or didn’t understand the layout of this place. We were surprised to find that it’s actually too separate units. That was fine because of the structure of our family. We actually enjoyed having separate kitchens and plenty of common space for each side. The pool in the backyard was clean and provided rest and relaxation for all of us. The neighborhood is very quiet. Traffic was minimal and it was a short distance to some restaurants and shopping areas. We did reach out one time because of a concern about the pool. We were told someone would stop over in the afternoon to take a look at it and give us some information about it. However, they never showed. Overall, this wasn’t a big deal, but if we would have rearranged our entire schedule for this and they didn’t show that would’ve been an inconvenience. We would certainly consider coming here again.

Great location, communication issues

Great location, nice setup but some communication and readiness issues. I had reached out to the Property Manager for early check in but did not get a response. Upon check in, we set pictures of items that were broken upon arrival (fridge) and pictures of the pool (hadn't been cleaned, there was a hose in it, previous renter's toys and a net floating at the bottom). She did not respond but instead showed up at the house unannounced and walked into the backyard. Incredibly alarming- have never had that happen in any rental before. Made us uncomfortable. She apologized for the mess of the backyard and pool and said she already knew the fridge was broken...The house was missing trash bags and dishwasher soap- just a heads up on your shopping trips to buy those things as they are necessary based on check out requirements. Also- a weird note, the Rental Company would not provide us with towels/sheets/linens unless we provided the full names and ages of each guest. An odd requirement! Rental Company (Dennis) did not respond to my questions I sent him in April, either. Overall, a nice property but clearly some communication issues that need to be addressed.

The place was very clean. Pool and house were awesome. Not too far from public beach access. Communication with owner was okay. Didnt always respond right away but did respond within an hour or two. Overall we LOVED this place and would definitely stay there again.
