Great for a family vacation!

We really enjoyed our time at this property! The location is ideal and the home was perfect for our family. We especially loved the quick walk to the restaurants/shops/beach and having access to our own pool!

Great location - great house

We really enjoyed our vacation in such a clean house with all the amenities, and a great location. Close to the village and close to a couple beach access sites. I highly recommend this place to others, we will definitely be coming back.

We came down to Siesta Key for a memorial service for our sister and extended our stay at this property. This is a wonderful place. Clean, within walking distance to beach, restaurants. Overall this place was great and I would highly recommend.

Perfect house

My husband and I went with four of our children ages 24, 20, 19 and 14. There was more than enough room for all of us. It’s super close to Siesta Village and about a five minute walk (if that) to the beach. Definitely staying here again!

Great location, but needs some help.

While we really enjoyed the location of this house, there were some real issues that would need fixed before I’d spend this amount of money again. Cons: - One of the bedroom doors was covered in mold. We promptly let them know and did not hear back but they sent a person to come clean it with bleach. - 3 out of 5 pool chairs were broken and unusable. We let the owners know and they promised new ones to be delivered during our stay, they never arrived. - The overall cleanliness of the home inside and outside was not great. We spent a good amount of time washing the pool area with a hose to get ride of dirt and a film, as well as sweeping and cleaning the floors inside. Pros: - The location of this home is great! It’s right between multiple beach accesses within walking distance (even with hauling a bunch of stuff for kids) and the village for food and drinks. - We enjoyed having a pool at the house, great for kids.

Siesta Key

Pros: Location- 2 minute walk to the village. 8 minute walk to the beach in either direction. We enjoyed the beach down by the pier. The beach was absolutely spectacular at all times of the day. House- Nice sized pool. Rooms were comfortable. Kitchen was large and well equipped with pots, pans , etc (would of loved better wine glasses). Very large refrigerator that accommodated all of our food and beverages. Beach towels included, as well as a wagon, chairs and cart. There was an umbrella, but I think someone might have left it because the house is advertised as not having an umbrella. High speed wifi that made streaming easy. Communication with rental agency was easy. Cons: unfortunately the master shower was not cleaned at all prior to our arrival. It was very dirty, including pieces of a plastic razor . The bathrooms also need updating, especially for the price we’re paying. Once I informed the rental agency, they had the bathroom cleaned immediately. Overall the cleanliness of the house was not great though. We had to wash glasses before use. Blinds were dusty, carpet on stairs is worn, the pool area needs to be pressure washed near the drain. If they make these changes, I would have rated 5 stars.

This is a beautiful property inside and out. The house is beautiful and clean and the pool and yard are awesome. It is a block away from the village and a few blocks from the beach. We would definitely book this location again!

Tarpon Villa was a beautiful vacation home for our family of eight. Spacious and comfortable, everything was as advertised. Home is located in the perfect spot for walking to the village and to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Awesome location where you can walk to the beach or the village in just a couple minutes. Great layout with a big kitchen, big bedrooms, and comfy beds. The kids loved having a pool all to themselves! Only gave 4 stars on cleaning due to it not being as pristine as I would expect for the hefty fee they charge for cleaning. There's more wear & tear on the house than the photos show, but it's a vacation rental so kinda as one would expect there. Overall it was a great place and experience, and we'd stay here again. Service & communication was excellent.

A great Siesta Property

We wanted something g close to the Siesta Key Village and this was perfect! Within walking distance to village and the beach. Super clean and bright with a wonderful kitchen and laundry area. The only negative I could say about the stay is that the neighbors beside of us that came a few days before we left were really loud outside by the pool until late hours of the night. A box fan was provided In the master suite so we were able to drown out the noise. During the daytime they were listening to their music so loud that it was useless to listen to your own music. All in all a ten out of ten stay.

Perfect location between the village and the beach (each a few block away). House is well laid out and comfortable for an extended family stay. Pool was well used and appreciated by our grandchildren. House was a little tired (carpet was stained and could use replacement). King mattress on second floor was pretty soft. Could use updating. Appreciated that the kitchen was fairly well equipped. We ate in every night and were able to cook with no problems. Just a heads though that there was no food or supplies of any kind like coffee filters or even salt/pepper. Management responding quickly to a couple minor issues. Well run operation. Overall would stay there again.

Fantastic!

This property was absolutely perfect. It's just a short walk to both the village and the beach, is in a very quiet neighborhood, is in pristine condition and immaculate, but above all, Siesta Keys Luxury Property's customer service is outstanding. On our last full day of vacation, an unexpected issue occurred with the pool that was not the fault of the SKLP. Even though this issue was the result of a 3-party error, SKLP was not only very responsive to resolve the issue, their customer service handling of it was 5 star. Their entire staff, from the pool technicians, to the maintenance staff, and customer service staff were all kind and very apologetic. Those employees left us with such a wonderful impression that from now on SKLP properties will always be our first and foremost go-to property. Thank you SKLP for helping us to have an amazing vacation.

This place was pretty amazing! Beautiful decor and central to downtown and beach access, everything was very walkable. The amenities provided fulfilled our needs. There were 2 different coffee makers, 1 Keurig and 1 regular pot (I recommend they upgrade both given price of unit, both were very basic and outdated). Few complaints; fridge was huge but could absolutely be upgraded given the price of unit plus the ice maker did not keep up with regular needs of filling water cups for 4 people, indoor water dispenser made a mess every time we tried to use it; toaster was broke on right side, both shower drains were nearly completely blocked- it was like taking a shower and ankle bath at the same time; we noticed unit opposite us (same building) had more amenities like a hot tub and patio furniture. Beach gear (towels, chairs, wagon, cooler- no umbrella) fulfilled our needs. Plenty of kitchen utensils, cups, plates, bowls, and cookware. Outdoor grill was in an odd spot with no light overhead to prepare meals at night. Another issue we had were sugar ants! TONS! Found spray under sink which helped for maybe a day (I know this is a FL thing so no biggie, we dealt with it but something to be aware of). You are not supplied with much other than towels and tiny bar soap- no mini shampoo, conditioner or lotion. We were provided with mini dish soap, mini laundry soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 garbage bags, 1 roll paper towel, and 2 toilet paper in each bathroom. We stayed for a week and bought and used extra tp and paper towel. Grocery store on the corner is convenient but expensive for basic stuff, even food- I recommend driving to Walmart or Dollar Tree (10min drive). Would definitely recommend this place to a group of 4 and up (would help to have a 3rd full bathroom with larger groups, there is plenty of room to add this). Although we didn't have great weather, we were pleased with the overall stay and accommodations provided to us.

Best Beach Vacay Destination

This was our 2nd time in Siesta Key, but 1st time staying near Siesta Village. The location of this impeccable home is unbeatable. A quick 5 minute walk to the beach access point or a 2 minute walk to the Siesta Village strip. Perfect for not having to fool with the car (minivan) and for our teenage girls and 20 yr old daughter with boyfriend to walk on their own without us having to overly worry about a major road, etc. We've stayed in a lot of places and this home was not only beautiful but it was well-appointed with plenty of towels, dishes and cookware/utensils (which has been lacking in other rentals). It made cooking very easy for our big group which took the stress out of that daily need. The pool was an exceptional amenity since the kids sometimes just wanted to chill out there rather than go to the beach. Understandably for these post-pandemic times, there was not a spice rack but there is a Walmart Neighborhood Market on Bee Ridge Road, as well as other groceries in Sarasota, and there is Siesta Market a 5 second drive up Canal Rd, but the prices reflect the convenience since there isn't a major store on Siesta Key. So buy salt and coffee filters in Sarasota! Our flight arrived at night in St. Pete so by the time we drove down, we made a stop along the way to pick up the bare essentials to get started in the morning. However, next to the Siesta Market (a 2 min walk up the road) is a walk-up coffee and donut stand so if you arrive late a night, you can at least get a quick coffee before your next move to get your supplies. Siesta Village strip has tons of restaurants - we went to Daiquiri Deck twice for their lobster rolls and decked out baked potatoes with shrimp and crab. Gilligan's for the music and best Pina Coladas I have ever had. The whole strip is the perfect beachy laid back vibe and not too crowded. We stayed next to Crescent Beach on the south end last year, so we went down there several times to snorkel at Point of Rocks - great shelling and fun to watch the fish) - and comb the sandbar for shells, you can find amazing shells here. Up at the beach where we were at, the kids were finding abundant dead sand dollars when it was low tide, about 1/4 mile out in about 4 feet of water. We were easily standing, the surf is mild all along Siesta Key and the water beautifully clear - you can't beat the sand. I've bareboat sailed the Caribbean my whole life with my parents who were sailors and Siesta Key is one of my top faves!
