"We had a wonderful 3 nights at Ragged Point. We explored hikes up the coast, loved our dinners at the on-site restaurant and relished in the serenity and sunsets. We will definitely make another trip out at some pint. (We are from the east coast and drove up from San Diego while visiting our daughter in college). We have always wanted to visit Big Sur and although the road is still closed at the landslide we really enjoyed all this area had to offer and the staff and setting at Ragged Point. And the ocean view was outstanding. Ocean for miles! "

"Old Design Motel with good bones and nice upgrades to rooms including bathrooms. Great pool and firepit. Breakfast is light but coffee is excellent. Great bakery not far away. Boardwalk just across the street. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Great for 2 nights to visit Hearst Castle, hike and chill. Clean, quiet and easy to drive to and from what we wanted to do."

"The room was immaculate, and the views unparalleled. There are different locations to view the cliffs and the ocean, and you can hear the waves breaking throughout the day. It's tempting just to stay-put and absorb the quietude. There is no restaurant on the premises, so I brought my food and was provided a toaster and an ice chest. Lots of hiking locations nearby. "
