“The hotel was a small but lovely place. We had a room with a full size bed, we thought we were getting a queen, and a shared bathroom, that we were told was very nice bathroom. The shower was like a camoer shower, the way it was explained we wete under assumption it was a spa like bathroom. I understand most Colorado does not have Air conditioning, it was 85 degrees in the hotel at 8PM. Large steep flight of stairs to walk to the rooms wasn't pleasant for a handicapped person. Nice place but……

“This property doesn’t really cater to older people or travelers with large amounts of luggage. The property description doesn’t mention that there is no elevator and that there is a single flight of steps up to the rooms, all of which are upstairs. Also, there is a quiet period from 10pm to 8am which isn’t mentioned anywhere in the property description. There is no one on property to answer questions. “This is a really funky, quaint historic hotel. Great location, you can walk all over Silverton and to the shops and restaurants. My son and I stayed on our way through to our home in Northern Colorado. We were in the two bedroom room. The beds were super comfortable and we slept really well. Our main complaint was that we couldn't see in the bathroom, there was one little light by the mirror. There was another small wall light by the shower, but it had no bulb in it - so the shower was quite……

“The location was great, next to gondola and trails. Breakfast was good. The room was very hot, only a window air unit in bedroom. The windows were not well insulated and could hear everything outside. The pull out bed in couch was very uncomfortable. The parking was confusing because had signs saying not to park, also parking is $20. The front staff at check-in was rude.”

“This little gem made our overnight stay in Telluride perfect! It’s surprisingly affordable, and the location is unbeatable. Joe was super kind and helpful at check in, and we loved the view from our 3rd floor room. While it’s true that there is no ac, that didn’t bother us at all. There are fans, and Telluride is cool at night. The beds are really comfortable, and the room was sparkling clean. I will say that Telluride is bustling in the morning, so don’t expect to sleep in if you have a street……
