“Was pleasantly surprised. Had decided to stay there because it was close to the Kilimanjaro airport and after 17 hrs of traveling to get there and getting in late, was very happy that shuttle drive was on time and Customer service excellent.”

“I stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for 4 nights and was impressed by the tranquil and peaceful environment. The terrace is a great place to watch the sacred Mountain Kilimanjaro at different times of the day, and be connected to the nature. I brought along my yoga mat to practise on the terrace every morning. Food is great too, they prepared wonderful vegetarian food for me on request everyday. Staff is very nice and treat every guest with their heart. I really enjoyed staying at Kaliwa Lodge. ”

“Amazing in every way. The airport shuttle felt overpriced, but otherwise everything was truly exceptional. The staff went out of their way to provide an excellent stay and the location was beautiful and well-appointed.”
