“The cleaning staff, Sharon, was very nice and helpful and showed up to let us into the property even though the owner had told her the wrong date. The owner was very rude when I called to ask questions about the property prior to our arrival and the property is more run down than pictures depict. There was a horrible sulfar smell from the seaweed on that side of the island and the beach was not usable, also due to the seaweed. “Let me start by saying Bob is a great guy who tries to accommodate you as best he can. He is super friendly and even a talented entertainer. His home is a bit off the beaten path so a rental car is a MUST in order to explore the island. A few things to note is that if a super cool A/C is what you are after this place might not be for you. “Helios is a wonderful villa in Oyster Pond, and Brad as the host was incredibly helpful and responsive. The house was very clean when we arrived and had all the necessary amenities and more. The pool is not heated, so we did not utilize it as much, although the kids enjoyed it. The views from the kitchen, living room and patio of Dawn Beach and St. Barts in the distance can't be beat.
