"I had a wonderful stay late September at PAME Very clean rooms, responsive staff and quiet (Junior Suite). It's a busy area but every safe ... As a solo male traveler, I returned to the hotel every night around 10-11pm by metro (Victoria) station and did not have any issues. There is a convenience store next to the hotel where you can get the basics. Also a few nice takeout / dining spots. The victoria metro station is approx a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Lot of bakeries and small restaurants on the way. Very convenient and saves you quite a bit if you take the 5 day pass (€8). If coming from the airport, the one way train ride is €9."

"I think the President Hotel is an ideal choice for a short stay for anyone visiting Athens for the first time and wanting to immerse themselves in the city. The hotel is conveniently located, with the nearest Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop roughly 10–20 minutes away, while the metro station is also within easy reach, making it relatively straightforward to get to many of Athens’ major attractions and historic sites. The hotel itself offers plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable, but what really stood out to me was the quality of the staff. Everyone, from the front-of-house team and porters to the restaurant staff and cleaners, was extremely polite, professional, and efficient. There is a clear sense that the hotel is very well managed, with the staff working together to create a welcoming and well-organised environment. Overall, the President Hotel provides a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore Athens, particularly for first-time visitors. Credit should certainly go to the management, as the professionalism and attentiveness of the entire team are a real reflection of how well the hotel is run."

"This apartment/hostel was clean, well designed, well maintained and close to public transports and other amenities. The only issues we had during our stay were mainly the communication and lack of staff on site. The check-in time was 3:00 PM and despite sending messages through WhatsApp, their website and through Expedia we didn’t receive anything from our host until we reached out to Expedia and they contacted the host and after that we received check-in instructions and access code at around 4:30 PM. The fire alarm in hallway went off in one morning and continued for almost 2 hours and no one was there to respond/reset it until we left the building for our scheduled tours. Generally, the building is okay, but the idea of not having any staff and reliance on online communication was not ideal at all."
