“The cottage was clean tidy and cozy, exactly what we wanted. The owner was prompt with a response about a travel cot and told us where to find the high chair. Comfy beds, quality towels and bedding. Lovely stay! The small thing is the cottage was on the main road and cars came up and down it fast. You could barely hear it from inside the cottage but getting our kids out of the car was difficult. That being said the owner told us about alternative parking round the back, but it was raining so we……

“Disappointed with room, cold - one radiator didn’t appear to work and one needed reprogramming in order to get warmth. The duvet was thin meaning we were cold during the night, and the bed was uncomfortable, so much so we nearly got up and drove home. Shower had black mould on head & pipe. There was a dirty towel, wedged behind the door on the bathroom floor. I went to use a beaker and saw that it was stained so gave up using anything in the kitchen.”
