“Overall it was nice but the house needs some maintenance, needs gutters cleaned , showers drains need cleaning. Minor problems, but would have made this place outstanding. Outside was great time, very quiet and relaxing. Would do it again.”

“We enjoyed our weekend at Hilltop Haven! Very spacious and filled with things to do. Our children especially enjoyed the basement with pool table and darts! Close walk to the nearby lake and close to Lake Wallenpaupak. We loved having the option of sitting outside by the fire or inside of the screened in porch.”

“Warm, cozy cabin with beautiful views of the lake and forests. My girlfriend and I stayed here for four nights and it was the perfect chance to relax and unwind. Plenty to do in the community itself, and in the nearby area as well, but my girlfriend said her favorite moment was when this family of deer came by to graze along the front yard while we sat on the deck and watched. Thanks again to Ashleigh and Michael for providing such a comfortable place for us to stay.”

“The house and the lake community had everything we needed to have a great time. The dock was very close for fishing or kayaking, the house has a fire pit, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and a great supply of games, and the community has a lot of activities during peak season. Many other activities are close by. The owner did a great job of leaving welcome gifts as well as staying in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly highly recommend this home.”

“My husband, I and our 2 doggies just spent several relaxing days at the Lake Ariel Chalet. As we drove up to the chalet, right away we liked the fact that the driveway was large enough for multiple cars and a boat, and the house backed up to woods. Upon entering, we were felt the warm ambiance of a well loved family & friends vacation home. The chalet was clean and very roomy. There was plenty of space for folks and dogs to spread out upstairs and downstairs. The bed in the main floor bedroom……

“Overall the house was very nice. All the essentials were provided. The beds and linens were comfortable and cozy. The water pressure and temperature in the showers was good. The property was nice, with many amenities. Few things were left to be desired. Some seating and/or additional surfaces in the bedrooms would have allowed us to keep luggage/items off the floor. The shower curtain was the fabric liner type, so it smelled like rotten towels. We had to provide our own propane and firewood.……

“My family had such a nice time. Plenty of room for all 8 of us. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning. I could spend a lifetime staring at that lake. House had everything you need. Fred was an amazing host. Super attentive.”

“We had a large group, and this house was perfect for a long weekend. Longer stays would be for smaller groups. The only issue is the upstairs bedroom gets very hot & the ceiling fan up there doesn't work.”

“The house was perfect and host was very easy to contact and communicate with as needed. The games, hot tub and golf cart were the best additions to a vacation house. Our favorite adventure we did there was the ATVs that were on the suggestion page in the house book. No complaints, we had a great time.”

“This was such a great house for our girls weekend. Check in process with the home owner was so smooth. House felt clean, safe, and you can tell the owner puts great care into her guests. Such good communication. You feel like you are in the middle of the woods. The lake is beautiful! Highly recommend this spot. The only snafoo is that gate check in process was pretty strick so make sure your registration isn't expired!!”
