" This is a hotel in the Daniel Boone Forest. People are there to enjoy the outdoors ,not be inside .This hotel was low on amenities but high on hospitality. The front desk and the dining staff were excellent.They were friendly and went out of their way to help me. The continental breakfast was just okay.The dinner menu was good with large portions. I would say that the cleanliness and the maintenance of the rooms could have been better.The bed was comfortable and the water was hot enough. I would have liked to have a microwave in the room."

"We were mostly happy with the cabin and wooded location, but didn't realize that the property was under construction. Our peaceful expectations were interupted by construction noise each day."

"Pros: In a great location to all the things we wanted to do. Room was cute and the air conditioner wirked well. Cons: The shower head stunk and the tub held water and did not drain well. The wi fi on day one made it impossible to watch tv because to many people was on it but by day 2 no one was there and we has no problems with it. No house keeping so once i made coffee the 1st morning i had nothing left for the 2nd. Over all it was not to bad and fprnthe price we paid i was satisfied. "

"This place was very clean and cozy. After a day of hiking we were looking forward to soaking in the hot tub but it wouldn't turn on, we were too tired to care. The steps upstairs are very narrow so I wouldn't suggest it for an older couple. The road to get to the cabin was extremely rough, but it's no fault of the owners. The only problem with the place is the deck definitely needs work. Boards were sticking up and some were missing screws. It was definitely a nice place!"

"Cute quiet little cabin I would 100% stay here again. It’s a little out of the way but it’s also one of the things that we liked about it. Very very quiet, beautiful dark night skies. "
