The hotel is in a nice location as it has a sea view. The price per night was ok (one of the lowest ones in the area, so you need to accept some inconveniences that come with that). The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is cleaned daily. The staff is doing what they can, but they have limited resources, so they can be as good as resources allow them. The bus stop is in front of the hotel so you can plan you sightseeing starting from there. It is a plus! However, there are some minuses as well, out of which the most unpleasant for me were: the balcony window is not soundproof at all even if fully closed. There is a main road between hotel and the promenade, and you can hear all the cars passing by, also people walking next to the hotel and talking loudly. It is difficult to fall asleep. Also, the hotel amenities are very dated. Although as mentioned below, the staff is doing what they can to keep this place running, they cannot do much about dated bathroom or "worn-out" beds/furniture in the room. The other thing is that although it is stated at the reception and in the elevator that hotel is 100% no-smoking area, you can clearly smell cigarettes in the corridor. What is worse, if you have a balcony open, that terrible smell goes into your room, as guests smoke on their balconies. On average, the hotel is ok only if you plan to sleep there for couple of hours and spend the rest of your time outside. There is no point or pleasure to stay indoors of this hotel.
