All the windows - curtains aren't necessary because there are no other cabins anywhere! That is wonderful! It is what makes it so special. No cabin on every side of you like other places! It's just you, the river, the pasture, the creek, the rain, the owner's home a far distance but close enough for friendship. It's just a great……

“We had the best stay at this house! The rental property was so kind and let us check in a little early..the house had everything we needed and more to make our stay feel like we were home! Bunk bed, toys and games for the kids, extra blankets in every room, a fully stocked kitchen supply with every pot, pan, utensil, paper products, and coffee! We made most of our meals at the house, which was super convenient while traveling with our 4 kids. The beds and furniture were so comfy, and the propane……

“This property was perfect for our family of four (9yo and 11yo). We originally planned to rent an RV to explore Redwoods National Park but this tiny home was so much better! It’s convenient location was the perfect home base for our trip. We explored the Redwood State Parks, National Park, and the Oregon Coast. It’s about midway between Brookings, OR and Crescent City, CA. The house was clean and cozy. As noted in the photos the upstairs has a low ceiling, but the kids loved the tree house feel……

“First time staying here and we absolutely loved it!! Great location with a private beach close to everything. Could have installed a bigger water heater as it so small only 1-2 people can take a shower the rest have to wait an hour to get the next group on. I recommend installing an instant hot water tank in the unit it’s not much more in cost. Other than that the cabin was perfect and we will be back!!!!”

“This is a great spot if you are looking for a quiet charming place to enjoy some down time. It’s best probably for a couple, but will sleep more. The cabin itself is marvelous. It’s small and very efficiently laid out. The builder handmade much of it and everything is wonderfully crafted. You can feel the quality of the hand construction. The location is a bit tricky to find on arrival especially at night, but follow the directions and it’s not a problem. It becomes easy once you’ve been there.……

“This VRBO is a wonderful alternative to typical accommodations in Brookings. Private river access on the peaceful Chetco River. A sweet cottage with a full, well appointed kitchen. You can prepare your own meals or take a 10 minute drive into town to a variety of restaurants and ocean beaches. Dog friendly. Very comfortable accommodations. Hostess is delightful. Quiet location. We slept well.”

“I was worried that the other cabins would be too close and have little privacy, but I was wrong!! The cabin was tucked in the beautiful trees, cushioned with the local foliage of ferns. It was truly perfectly nestled, quiet, and so peaceful. I would recommend this as the ideal place if you want a retreat in nature to recharge your internal battery. We only booked one night, but I wish we had stayed longer. It was healing and therapeutic!”
