"The Hilton Garden Inn Kauai was conveniently located. The property was really well laid out. So close to the beach and swimming. We were able to walk out of our cottage and walk to the beach in five minutes. Very private and quiet. The breakfast wait staff were so friendly.
My only issue was that prior to our arrival I emailed if the Hilton gave any concessions for being kama’aina. I didn’t receive a response. A response would have been welcome.
Overall, a very nice visit."
Wailua Bay View 110 Oceanfront & Centrally located
10/10 Excellent
"While the property is a little older, it is well maintained. The location was great for us- close to two beaches, a convenience store, restaurants, and the amazing Nepali Brewery. The view of the ocean is amazing. We woke up each morning and watched waves, surfers, and fishermen. "

"Location, location, location!Complex is located just a quick stroll from the Coconut Marketplace. The grocery there has most things you need, and there are pre-packaged sandwiches to grab for the beach. If you want to do your own cooking, there's a Safeway Store across the road, which has everything. And BONUS, 2 of our favorite restaurants on the island are just past the Safeway: JO2, which has wonderful local food, is prepared by a skilled chef-owner, I believe. It is upscale dining, but if you go to Happy Hour, it's a real bargain, considering the quality of the food. (Don't miss the tempura green beans!)The other special dining spot is Aina Kauai, which is VERY fine dining, with special fare from another chef-owner. We like to sit at the counter, so we can speak with Chef Mitch, whose delicately-crafted Japanese menu is adventurous and exotic-- and everything is just delicious. I'm not big on raw fish, but I'll eat everything he puts in front of me. Worth the splurge. As for the condo, it has AC in the bedroom, which is VITAL for a good night's sleep. The mattress is nice, and the views are great. Oh, if you want a fun breakfast or lunch spot, just walk along the beach path to the Lava Lava Beach Club! Dine right on the beach -- don't feed the chickens, tho. We never had time to use the lovely pool, but it's just steps from your door. The Hawaiian music on the radio when we arrived fit the moment perfectly, and we left it on for our entire stay."
"Absolutely amazing. I could not recommend this place enough. My husband and I have stayed at several resorts, even all inclusive resorts, and this place exceeded our expectations. Quiet, safe, walkable to a lot of shops. ABC store right across the street. Lots of good & coffee places within walkable distance. Resort also has their own coffee daily and a 24/7 gift shop for smaller items. Beach you can swim at if you walk one minute on the walking path. Staff was excellent and helpful for all of our requests. Pool bar closes early, but it’s Kauai everything closed early. Central to both sides of the island so it’s about 40 minutes to popular destinations on both sides of island. Rooms are very spacious, and highly recommend booking one with the kitchen. Staff kept the grounds very clean. "
