"This is a very nice hotel. Cheerfully decorated with a beach vibe. Clean and comfortable. We had a kitchenette that was good for breakfast and snacks. Maid service was great. On the beach but not a swimming beach. Pool and games for the kids. Not a grand resort but very charming. Shopping area nearby. Nice walking trail by the ocean. "

"The property is great in term of location, beautiful view and beach, very family friendly but the property itself is very old and showing signs of aging it could use a facelift; that said I’d recommend for family with small kids because of the shallow beach area for kids. Love Hilton resort 👍❤️"

"Gorgeous view. Loved how quiet the area was. Area felt safe , even though a few people seemed to camp out on the beach out front. They were kind and friendly folk. AC was exceptionally loud , thankfully it wasn’t too hot we could do without. Carpet will get damp if AC left running too cold (hard to avoid in this climate). Maybe removing carpets in the future to avoid the issue.Fully stocked kitchen, very spacious spot. Overall great stay, would return! "

"I was in unit 321 and had a view of the ocean. It was a nice view for a view room. Pros: great location, it is a pretty property right next to the ocean and a 5 mile walking path, next to the marketplace with shops and restaurants, comfortable bed, great amenities that included a microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, utensils, plates, cups, glasses, mini refrigerator, nice big tv, the room was clean, the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The water may be to rough to swim at that beach but there is a better beach close by that would be good. Cons: the rooms need updating, and maintenance on the paint and bathroom vanity, the lighting is poor, the hand rail on the lanai was thick so I could not see the ocean when I sat outside, "

"The Fern Grotto Inn was a great location for exploring the island. The hosts seemed to think of everything from laundry to coffee to kayaks. It was a wonderful experience."

"There is a beautiful view of the beach. Good restaurants and amenities are close by. There is some traffic noise, but the complex is generally very quiet. The property manager was accessible and very helpful."
