Overlook the Intracoastal and walk to the beach!

Peaceful dog-friendly beach bungalow overlooking the Intracoastal, a block walk from the beach! Back under owner management. Big wrap-around porch from the front along the side to the main bedroom with views to soak in sunsets and to wake up to from your bed! The kids have a bunk bed (twin over full) in the other bedroom. Full kitchen to cook up amazing local seafood. Full bathroom with walk in shower. Washer/dryer and outdoor shower below the house. Sheets and bath towels provided by Seaside Linens.
A short drive to beach restaurants and bars. Come soak up the natural sights and sounds of coastal Carolina in our home away from home!

We stayed 3 nights while visiting family for Thanksgiving. The beach is a very short walk from property (3-5 mins). Linens and towels provided from local company. Kitchen is adequately stocked. Perfect for our brief stay!

We enjoyed our November stay here. Topsail Island is so quiet in the fall! This house has a great view toward the Intracoastal Waterway. All you see from the back deck is marsh plants, birds, water, and a few far-away houses. The beach is 2 very short blocks away. You have to cross the main road/highway to get there, but there is hardly any traffic off-season.The house is small but comfortable, and is well-equipped for fixing your own meals.We will stay again!

Everything you need for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Short walk to the beach but the back deck is so lovely, it's sometimes hard to leave. Well-stocked kitchen, a charcoal grill downstairs, and there are even beach chairs if you need them. This was our third booking of this sweet little house, so needless to say we absolutely love it!

Perfection

This house was EVERYTHING my wife and I were looking. The location was a short walk to the beach and the sunset views from the side porch were incredible. It felt very private and the yard was a great size for our dog to walk around. The beginning of our week consisted of 4 adults, including my wife and I, and the house felt like the perfect size. The house feels like a home away from home. The owner of the house responded quickly if I had a question. My wife and I couldn’t get over how perfect the house was and can’t wait until we get to come back next year. I highly recommend this home.

Sunset views

The property was as described. It is not a large house, but they do not depict it as a large house. The photos are very accurate. It reminds me of a small family owned vacation home back in the time when the common blue collar family could afford a little piece of paradise. A place to escape and fish and commune with family. If you are looking for a large house or luxurious house, maybe look elsewhere. They are not charging a luxury price and dont make any false claims about the house. The view is where the money is. Fabulous sunsets that you will never forget. We very much enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet street with very few neighbors during our stay. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Beach Home

House was a very dog friendly home that was super close to the beach. House was clean and stocked with basic starter supplies and kitchen cooking supplies to cook amazing meals. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay over Memorial day weekend! Very quiet side street right next to the marsh and a short walk to the beach. Perfect for a family with a dog. We hope we can be back soon!

March get away

We stayed for the month of March and have to say what a treasure this place is! The back deck overlooking the marsh is AMAZING! Loved sitting out there listening and watching the birds, hawks, pelicans, egrets etc. And enjoying the sunsets. The walk to the Oceanside is about 3 minutes and the beach is gorgeous with Crystal clear water. Found lots of shark teeth! Although its small in size, there was plenty of places to store our stuff and we even cooked many meals there due to the cooler temps with not a lot of dog patio dining open. We were disappointed that the piers are not dog friendly, but there are a few nice parks on the island and just outside in Sneads Ferry. Ricks restaurant let us bring our little dog in his stroller in and they have a farmers market on Sundays with live music, which was nice. Thomas was great to work with and promptly replied to any question or comments we had. Enjoy your stay!

“Best vacation yet”

We’ve been coming to Topsail for the last 12 years and the husband dubbed this one the “best vacation yet” all because of this lovely place. We enjoyed the privacy and peaceful quiet here. The dog loved the sunny deck and watching the birds and butterflies. This was our first time not staying oceanfront and it turned out to be the best decision.

Awesome location and great host

The location is great with direct view over the backbay (sunset) and it's a short, 1-2min walk to the beach (sunrise). The house is cozy and the outdoor shower and hose downstairs as well as the faucet on the porch are great to wash off the sand before going inside. A few things are a bit 'dated', like the screen of the screened in porch and the outdoor furniture but there weren't really any bugs and we had our own beach chairs. We had one issue during our stay but the host was very responsive from the beginning and throughout and quickly resolved it.

Beautiful Views, Great Non - beachfront location

Beautiful marsh views made up for our first time not staying at a location that is beachfront. Very peaceful. Quiet neighbors and easy walk to the beach. I would suggest updating your outdoor furniture as it’s either uncomfortable or rusted. Size is great for a couple but may be too small for more except perhaps small children. Overall we had a great time and owner communication was great!
