"It was clean, nicely feeling accommodation in a retro style. The retro does NOT mean old and worn out, but more like the feeling of staying in a small local museum. The rooms are the biggest I stayed in during my two-week road trip in Iceland. Location is best - first line facing ocean / harbor. The only thing I liked less where showers. They where ok, but I would do there some renovations to match the entire guesthouse level."

"I'm not necessarily a hotel person but this was an exceptional one. We were on the third floor above an area where you had to go outside briefly and that was a little weird, but that was the only oddity. Weather wasn't an issue so it wasn't a problem. The food was terrific. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and from starters to dessert it was perfect. I think the beet soup was one of the best I have ever had. Property sits adjacent to the black church and in the middle of a national park so there's plenty of hiking to do around it which is the reason we chose it. We hiked to one of the volcanoes which took about three and a half hours round trip but the view was amazing. You can also if you are brave go swimming or at least jump in the cold water. The sitting area is around the bar are also an added bonus and I would definitely make time to have a drink and take in the views."

"Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Les douches et chambres de bain sont également grandes et propres. On ne manque de rien dans la cuisine et la vue sur la mer que nous avons de la cuisine est extraordinaire. L'endroit est très tranquille. Le stationnement est facile. Bref je le recommande"

"Very cool place! The interior is very spacious with multiple sections, including 2 kitchens. Lots of places to sit and lounge, or play or socialize or be productive. The host that night was a very pleasant gentleman who injected some extra character into the space. The main lounging and bar area is very cool and it looks like they have events there regularly, but unfortunately not while we were there (1 night). 2 of us stayed in a triple room (ended up being cheaper than another option) and it was great with good accessible outlets, good blackout curtains, a sink in the room, and keypad entry. Breakfast was included and yummy. Very interesting area in the peninsula as well -- I would absolutely come back to stay here."
