“We went as a stopover between our trip from Melbourne to Sydney. Stayed 2 nights for kids enjoy the farm life. Good geographical location means you won't lose your time travelling too far from the highway. The cub tent is very comfortable. Luxury camping experience. Kids must like the toys and the lovely animals. We saw miniature horse, lambs, chickens, cows, wild kangaroo and wild rabbits! We saw baby lamb of 1 and 5 days old too! Ruth cooked yummy meat pie and chicken soup for us. Fantastic……

“Very clean easy access”

“Clean room. Good staff. Communal bathroom needs renovation.”

“Very easy check in, Shelly at reception made me feel so welcome, the room was spacious, very comfortable bed, easy to use Smart TV, WiFi worked very well, kitchen bench top with sink & mini stove top, lots of cupboard & storage space, shower very good and quiet spot yet very close walk to town. There’s also a laundry for a small fee. I recommend this place when visiting Tumut and excellent value.”

“Was all up a clean and lovely place to stay.”

“Very horrible experience. The room was not cleaned, and the worst part is that the toilet flush was not working, and there was no water in the toilet.”

“..”

“Staff there are very polite, food was great!”

“Towels could do with throwing away! Older room but ok for one night”

“Great place to stay. Clean, Very close to everything especially the RSL. Good place to stay. Would recommend to stay here.”

“While the facility was old, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hot water was lacking and the hand basin would be more serviceable if the shelf above it were moved to the side.”

“Was nice to receive a little goodie breakfast bag upon arrival. Only disappoint thing was that the parking was appropriate for our vehicle and bikes, so we had to park out on the street. The room for 4 people was comfortable enough for 1 night. Single bed room needs to have at least a beside table,”

“we really enjoyed out time here. Peaceful area with breath taking alpine environment. Comfortable and warm, a home away from home. My service dog loved the ability to go outside and sniff and my wife liked being able to cook her own meals. Fantastic communication from the hosts, always making sure you had everything you needed.”

“Cosy home perfect for 2 families of 4 for a ski holiday at Selwyn. Easy to have breakfast at the house then head up to the ski-resort.”

“This is the second time we stayed in this property. We visited this place after four years. Last time it was booked by my friend. I found property renovated and much more pleasant to stay. Even my kids enjoyed staying over. We definitely would like to give 5 stars for the hosts for their effort to keep this place so lovely.”

“Home was spacious & clean, close to everything and quiet. We really appreciated the range of cookware and serving dishes which made it feel like home. Thanks Dorothy for a great place to stay.”
