Beautiful getaway
Stayed with family to celebrate birthday. The house and property were beautiful, clean. quiet and peaceful. Sitting on the porch and seeing wildlife was an added bonus. And the big soaker bathtub - wonderful! We would definitely love to return! And the short drive to Knoebels was great!

Second Time Around
My family and I love this little hideaway! Second time we stayed here. The property owner is so nice and was prompt in responding to an issue we had! We will definitely return next year for our annual Knoebel’s family outing! See you next year, Bonnie!

Property is in a beautiful, quiet locaion, but close to Knoebels. Bonnie was easy to get a hold og when we had questions about the area.

Pleasant stay
Nice location and home. Only complaint I have is it was supposed to have a queen size bed according to the website, and we had to make do with a double so 2 members of my party did not get the sleep they needed.

I saw your review, you got me to thinking so I checked the sheets they are queen size the double size sheets don’t fit. I measured the mattress in both rooms and they are queen size, on the mattress it says queen.Maybe you are thinking of king size bed? Sorry the beds weren’t what you needed. But they are the size that is advertised.

Great place
We were very happy with our stay at this lovely little country home. Well equipped, quiet, clean and just a great place to come back to after a long day out. Nice to sit out and watch the wildlife from the porch.

Nice Home Comfort
We enjoyed our stay at the house, while visiting knoebels. Was a short drive away and offered more tranquility than the overcrowded campground ever could. The days we went, had a lot of off and on rain and Bonnie was real helpful with helping us find something indoors for the kids to do when we couldn't go swimming! Will definitely use again for future trips.

Quite Setting yet minutes away form town
Very clean and well supplied place. Front towels, to pots and pans and even if you forgot a blanket there are tons in the closets. The owners leave near buy and checked in to make sure we have everything we need for the stay. Great communication with owners. We will be back again!

Graduation overnight
The location of the property was certainly private and remote. The scenery was serene and beautiful. We were surprised that this was a mobile home...the online pictures did not indicate that. The inside was a bit dated with mismatched furniture and few wall hangings. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. A couple of things needed fixing like the master bathroom sink and the faucet in the kitchen. The location was certainly a good place for a getaway but it was a distance from the graduation activities in Selinsgrove. We appreciated the price and the moderate accommodations but would not recommend it to family or friends simply due to its distance and underwhelming presentation.

Thank you for your review, my purpose of having this place is to offer a decent place for families at a decent price. There are a few things I’m working on trying to keep it up to date and presentable, which takes time and money, so this is in a constant state of improvement.

We came from far enough away that we wanted to stay overnight when we went to Knoebles. Tons of room, no issues with smell, and very comfortable mattresses (I have a cranky back).

Good location for Knoebels
I liked the place overall. It was easy to get to Knoebels and Sheetz from the property. The furniture was old but in good condition so no complaints there. The linens were clean and some were even brand new. The refrigerator worked amazing. Coldest drinks ever. As far as cleanliness, I would say, just okay. It has the normal issues for rural areas like dead bugs near the windows and corners of the room but nothing too crazy. Bathrooms were clean as was the kitchen. My only complaint is that it had a weird smell. Almost like a cat or something. I know the property says no pets and I'm not sure if anyone had a pet in there or not but the smell was immediate as you entered. We used to own a home not to far from there and always had a strange smell from our water but this didn't smell like that. In fact, the home's water actually didn't have a smell at all. I just assumed all well water smelled up there but not this place as far as I could tell. Overall, it's a good place with an easy commute to Knoebels and you should give it a shot. We are probably a bit picky when it comes to renting places but just wanted to share our honest thoughts. Didn't feel the need to contact the property owner at all but as I understand, she is very easy to get a hold for any issues. Take care

Romantic Get a way for 2 !
This was a romantic get a way for 2 very hard working individuals! Just needed that hide away from the world! And this was the perfect spot! 😊 Out in country but close to Knoebels, Winery , etc! This secluded little country cottage was just the perfect get a way! We liked the area so much we would def like to book another stay there in the near future! 😊

We enjoyed our stay in the house, which was just 15 min away from Knoebels. The accommodations were comfortable and surroundings around house very peaceful.

Clean Peaceful stay
Even though we only stayed one night we enjoyed the place. My family had plenty of room and the place was clean. The air conditioner was already on which was great because it was over 90 degrees when we arrived. Bonnie was very nice to deal with and there were pots and pans so we could make dinner there. The only thing which is common in the country was no Wifi that would have made our stay perfect but it was ok i used my hotspot for the kids and everyone was fine. Thank you Bonnie for sharing your home with us.

Great house, great owner
We had a great stay in this quiet cottage. We spent the day at Knoebels Grove with our son and grandsons, then enjoyed a quiet evening listening to the night and watching the sky. We had a visitor under a our car who made it difficult to leave, but Bonnie came to our rescue, having the animal extracted and finding someone to fix our car! Couldn’t ask for a better hostess. Thank you.

We stay here for a weekend to get away and spend time with family upon arriving we met Bonnie she was super sweet even showed my daughter her room let us know a few things about the house and told us if we needed anything just to call. Would definitely recommend this little home away from home!!!!!

Great quiet location
Bonnie was friendly and easy to reach and helpful in getting us to and from Spyglass winery. The house was very clean (even though she was thrown a curve prior to our arrival when the power went out while she was getting the house ready for us). Even though we didn't need much in the way of kitchen use during our stay, the kitchen is equipped well. (Always a bonus when the house has a wine bottle opener!). It has a great porch and is in a quiet peaceful setting. We were able to lounge on the porch in the evening before the concert and the next morning before packing up.

The house is perfect for family time. We were very comfortable. Plenty of room, love the individual bedrooms. Very sad that the tub did not work this past time! Was so looking forward to using it after a long day at Knoebel's. Thank you Mrs. Bonnie for everything and we love your house.

This place was a hidden gem! So quiet! You can hear the stars twinkle.
