From here, it's easy to go on trips to the wells of central Lapland or visit the cultural events of the village.
Rowing boat available at the village's boat ramp. Reindeer can usually be seen in the neighbor's reindeer park (at least in winter).

142 km to the north from Rovaniemi, 12 km to the north from the center of Sodankylä, in Sattanen along the village road, view to the stream Sattasjoki, distance from the accommodation 270 m. Due to the regulations, the water level varies and access to the beach is difficult from this point. Public swimming place about a kilometer away.

Round log cabin, whose previously built frame was moved to this place in 2010. Modernly equipped cabin. Living room/kitchen with sofa bed, on the ground floor bedroom with 120 cm wide bed, on the upper floor a spacious alcove with 2 beds, balcony. Washroom/WC is on the ground floor.
Covered terrace with a ramp for a wheelchair.
Separate building with sauna includes a steam room (wood-burning sauna stove) and a dressing room. Electric lights in the sauna building and cold water supply in the steam room.
