“The Cottage on the Kennebec is exactly as advertised. We explored the area (Houston Brook Falls, Moxie Falls, and Jackman Trading Post are highly recommended!), but spent a lot of time just enjoying the property kayaking, grilling, sitting by the river, playing games, and using the fire pit. Mike and Kim were very friendly and made us feel welcome while respecting our privacy.”

“The camp was rustic and had everything you needed for a great stay. Plenty of room for the family and was clean and comfy for everyone. The lake was great for swimming and fishing and was generally very quiet. We had a great week of weather so that was helpful. Really close to stores if you need food, ice cream, groceries etc..The only thing that was a slight issue was the size of the bathroom because I'm 6-3". The other thing is that the grill needs to be replaced because it is rusted and……

“We booked this beautiful camp for our girls trip and had an amazing time! The host was super accommodating and responsive. Spent our days floating on the lake and relaxing in the lovely yard. Spent the evenings by the firepit enjoying the tranquil surroundings. Can't wait to do it again next summer!”

“Great spot on the pond! Wonderful place for couple or one person to stay. The dogs loved the fenced in yard and so did we. Home had everything we needed to make meals. Also had many of the small things like coffee filters, foil, a few zip lock bags etc that saved us having to pick up. “We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. “There was a minor glitch at check in and the host responded immediately! This rental had everything you could need and more! Kitchen appliances and supplies were great. Lots of towels and blankets. Wonderful place for those who love being in and on the water.We spent most of our indoor time on the screened in porch with had couches, a table and rocking chairs.Fire pits stocked with plenty of wood and lots of outdoor seating to take in the sunsets.This rental is located next to a public boat……

“We had such a relaxing stay at this cabin. The property is incredibly peaceful, and the neighbors are friendly but respectful of privacy. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with essentials like paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and large towels, which made settling in so easy. It’s a great spot for guests of all ages, and we truly felt at home. We’re already planning to book this cabin again next year!”
