“This was a last minute late night stop on our way to the Algarves. It was a bit hard to find but ended up being our favorite stop in Portugal over the past 2 weeks. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. The shower is fantastic. The breakfast is simply outstanding. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property and the pool. The owners obviously take pride in the property and what they offer guests. Another plus is the beautiful town and beach area. Highly recommended. Top……

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt: Angefangen bei dem sauberen, gut ausgestatteten Apartment, über die gepflegte Außenanlage mit Pool und Sitzmöglichkeiten, bis hin zu dem freundlichsten Empfang und der liebevollsten Betreuung durch die Hotelmanager Fatima und Rudolf. Die Ausstattung des Apartments war sehr gut - mit Nespresso Kaffeemaschine, Geschirr, Töpfen,……

“Lovely rural property with a five minute drive to the nearest beach. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a fairly basic menu but everything I ordered was tasty and great value. Highly recommended for a calm and quiet stay.”

“É a minha segunda vez no Monte do Giestal, mas tal como na primeira, uma estadia prolongada de 5 dias. Tudo é bom aqui, desde as amplas e equipadas casas, super confortáveis, ao espaço exterior, sossego, comida entregue a porta de casa pelas sempre atenciosas funcionárias que não deixam que falte nada. Mais, venho com o meu cão, de porte grande, e também ele adora o Monte. Tem bastante espaço para correr livremente e é muito bem recebido. ”

“This is a hidden gem. Booked last minute and were absolutely blown away by what we found. It rained the day we were there so we cozied up in one of there beautifully appointed nooks and read. The breakfast was incredible and included Definitely would come back. The staff and grounds were so welcoming ”
