“We rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Bellwether House was sufficiently disappointing that we felt compelled to share it. The property certainly has character, with a classical Victorian style that is both charming and somewhat whimsical. Unfortunately, that charm is overshadowed by a pervasive sense of neglect. The house is poorly lit, rather dark and worn, and the overall condition falls well short of what the photographs online would lead you to expect. The images on the……

“The corner room is noisy at night- there were many people gathering near the hotels till 1 or 2 am and you could hear them. There was an Irish bar across from the hotels which you would hear the music playing at night. There was coffee stain in the carpet of the room I stayed.
The hotel has good hospitality and the bed was comfortable.

“We booked the opal suite. It was just as the pictures looked, except maybe even better! There are 2 units on each floor. Opal was on the top and we loved sitting in the little sun room in the comfy blue chairs. There is also a small couch but not big enough for sleeping (love seat sized). Some noise……
