Initially the property looked nice and well maintained, nice pool and grounds. However after waking up the first day there was no water from the hot taps so they put me in a different room. They told me “it worked before, it must be a problem with the city because they supplied the hot water” 100% BS. The next night I woke up with very itchy bites all over me. I mentioned it to the owners, they said it was probably mosquitoes. The next night the same thing happened. I’m sure we have all had mosquito bites at one time or another, they were definitely NOT mosquito bikes. I told them I would not sleep in that bed again. They then moved me to my original room and said the hot water is fixed now. The next night I woke up up with itchy bites all over me again. I then got fully dressed socks jeans T shirt and hoody to try and protect myself from whatever was biting me. I tried to endure it for another night. Without the blanket they provided me, thinking maybe it was something in the blanket It was not the blanket because I was woken up by the itchy bites again. Took a shower to try and relieve the itching and tried to go back to sleep. I lasted until 4:00am and finally had enough. So I left and went and slept in the car I rented. I went back later that morning to collect my belongings and left although I I had still paid for another night. Also I was told the room would be cleaned Tuesdays and Fridays, they did NOT clean the room change the sheets and towels like I was told. So when I left a day early, I deliberately left they room in a mess.
All in all it was definitely the worst place I have ever stayed and truly believe I should be fully refunded.
