Owners of home were super helpful before I even arrived with tons of information and helping me accommodate traveling in different groups. They helped me set up transportation and meals, which made everything run smoothly. The house itself was so beautiful with the view and all of the unbelievable colorful tile work throughout. The staff were amazing, especially Mary and Greg. Would highly recommend
It’s hard to put into words the majesty of this property. It sits right next to Gross Piton and has an incredible view overlooking Sugar Beach. St. Lucia is a very rustic country similar to St. John, USVI. Mary and her family cooked a traditional local dinner for us one night and it was fabulous. Be careful traveling in the towns and stay in very visible areas. Or just stay on this amazing property. Best view of any property that I’ve ever stayed. Constant rainbows over sugar beach. So qmazing!
Overall, we loved staying here. Beds were comfortable, kitchen functional, and the spacious layout afforded plenty of privacy between bedrooms for two couples. The view was incredible, nestled between the grand and petit pitons with the sea in the distance. Rainbows appeared daily. The breezes kept us comfortable day and night. Like most venues with a spectacular view, it was not easy to get to as the roads were not the best. The staff was friendly and attentive, took care of our needs and was happy to give us invaluable advice that only locals can provide. Our only problem was with showering as only one of three showers was adequate. Overall a great stay.
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Piton. Kermit and his on- site staff are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We appreciated the cleanliness, privacy and, of course, the magnificent views! If you are looking for a location that is quiet, private and removed from the "touristy" parts of the island, this is the place for you!
Our family of 6 had an incredible visit to this gorgeous villa saddled between the Pitons. Views are worth the visit alone, and the local staff including Mary and TJ were fantastic. Kermit was excellent in communicating in advance of our stay. Highly recommend for families interested in a private / non-resort property with a true “sense of place”.
We had 2 families with kids. We stayed for 3 nights. The views are incredible!! Very private. And lots of breeze to keep cool. Some of us got a bit eaten by bugs at night, but all the beds have bug nets, bug spray was provided, and some of us were totally fine and didn’t get any. Overall not a huge deal. The staff did a grocery shop for us for some staple groceries for our first day. And Mary, the housekeeper, cooked us dinner our first night!! It was incredible!!! Highly recommend having her cook a dinner! Would LOVE to go back!!!
This was our first time using a Vrbo and it was a terrific experience. Kermit our host was spot on with all the info and answers to our questions. The place had some of the best views on the island and the local resultants were awesome be it a little expensive. Mary and the rest of the staff were fun to chat with and did everything they could do to help make our vacation a true success. Thanks for everything.
Villa Piton is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The staff Mary who is sweet and full of history about the island is an amazing cook. Marcus the house manager and TJ the grounds keeper and pool maintenance were also very nice and welcoming. We also did the ATV excursion through Mystic Man Tours, snorkeling and the chocolate bean experience through Viator and they were all a blast.
Amazing! Truly on top of a mountain! Open air with plenty of wind. Rain mostly at night but short bursts days. Some bugs but nothing major. The driving is a bit hair raising but you get used to it quickly. We kept busy with adventures in and around Souxfriere daily. 3 great restaurant meals and 2 cooked by Mary. I can’t say enough about Mary/cook, brother Greg/Jack of all trades, Larry/driver for dinner twice, and the extended family who helped with our 2 dinners. They all were friendly and so helpful connecting us with others. The beach at Sugar Beach resort is fantastic. Restroom and bar all open to us. The drive down is steep but worth it.Kermit was incredibly helpful with info and we did almost everything he suggested. Would definitely return!
Amazing! Fantastic! Best vacation home and location we have stayed at, coming from vacation homeowners. This property is remote in an amazing architectural masterpiece tucked into the rain forest with a commanding view of the Caribbean Sea and the Pitons. Our drive through a "chocolate and banana rain forest daily left us in awe. The local population are some of the nicest people we have met, the local cuisine is worldclass quality yet simple. This property is a getaway not a resort.
One of the top three views of any place I have ever visited. Right up there with the entry into Yosemite and the view over the caldera of Santorini. The house is set up perfectly to enjoy the view.
Mary and TJ were great. Very helpful and made us feel at home. Definitely ask Mary to make dinner for you.
As with most Caribbean nations, the roads can be a bit trying, so get a four wheel drive and you’ll be fine.
A spectacular open view of the pitons in an enchanting house designed by architect John Dipol. Artistry is seen in the tile work ( in the master bathroom it feels emersive) iron work, overall design of the house. The open to elements concept house means lizzards and bugs. Lizzards eat mosquitoes and are harmless. Mosquito netting over the 4 poster beds helps. Room fans, full modern kitchen.
Mary and her grandchildren made an excellent first meal for us. Marcus and staff are wonderful!
St. Lucia mountain driving is not for the faint of heart but the house and feeling of open, alone grandiosity of 2 piton view is more than worth it.
The view is indeed unbeatable! Contrary to the last post, I had no trouble communicating with the owner/host prior to our visit and found him very responsive. For those interested in having Mary cook, I can attest her cooking is fantastic. The only surprise was that the cost of the food is not included in the $40/per person cost so just be prepared to pay $50-60/per person for the meal depending on what you have. By comparison whole family loved Martha’s Table about 20 minutes away and our family of 6 ate there one day for about $20/per person. Hotel Chocolate and The Mango Tree were pretty comparable in cost to what Mary charged (also highly recommended) if you are interested in a night out at a fancy restaurant.

Fabulous in every way!
Our stay at Villa Piton was extraordinary. The property and views of the Pitons and Caribbean Sea are like something out of a dream. The Villa provides the perfect setting to relax and unwind, or go out and explore. The town of Soufrière, restaurants and activities are just a ride away (we’d highly recommend renting a Jeep). The staff are so friendly and respectful of our privacy. They exemplify the warmth and hospitality that is the hallmark of the St Lucian people. We had Mary cook us curried Mahi Mahi, mac & cheese and a salad on our last night at Villa Piton. Mary’s cooking was the best dinner (delicious!!) we had during our stay in St Lucia and we had some amazing meals (at Jade Mountain, Dasheen, Fedo’s, TreeHouse, Apsara, etc). Staying at Villa Piton is the ideal setting for a truly unique and memorable St Lucian experience. We look forward to staying here again.
Villa Piton is a truly amazing place. The property, the views, the location are all breath taking. Highly recommended.
The host - Kermit - is incredibly responsive and answers all questions that we had. The staff living nearby were super helpful and yet, not intrusive.
The house is amazing. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. There's a constant breeze throughout the day and night because it's located on the top of a crest.
The location is fantastic. This is the part of the island you want to be at. We would recommend hiring a guide - we used "Simon Says" and he was great. He arranged trips for snorkeling, boat rides, the sulphur springs and the rainforest.
This location is great if you don't want to be with all the people at the big resorts, but instead you want to get more of a feel of what the island is like. Highly recommended.
The trip was amazing! It brought me and my partner a lot closer to one another! Our first night there the power went out but I can’t even complain because we lit candles and played drinking games in the dark. The next day the staff helped us get it back on. Miss Mary was great and she cooked us an authentic dish and was very helpful. Words cannot describe this trip you just have to experience it. My advice is to bring plenty of bug spray lol. Our driver Tender was great! Actually the best! He took us to Victoria to party with the locals and we had a really great time eating the street food and listening to music! Tender (our driver) made the trip very very enjoyable!! We love Tender haha. The property and the views are amazing! Oh yea make sure you bring converters for the sockets because the plug ins are different so we were all using one phone charger. I took some amazing photos and videos. I have a drone video of us on the property and it looks like some out of a movie. I love the property and I will be back soon! I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!! Thank you so much!! I give it a 10/10
A tropical artistic expression nestled between two mountains
This place doesn’t even seem real. The pictures, even the video we found on YouTube, didn’t come close to what we experienced. This place gives you the kind of experience you can’t even understand until you’ve lived it. Immediately after walking in and seeing the view, my family and I were in love. This house is not just a house, but a work of art worthy of being in a museum. We could feel the creator who designed this truly loved house and placed it in a perfectly picturesque corner of this beautiful island. Both pitons are visible, one to each side, when you walk through the open air space from the front door to the back with palm trees swaying in front of the sun setting over the ocean. Everyday you wake up to a beautiful sunrise that makes you wonder if it’s real. Goats and geckos constantly asserting a peaceful chill to our experience. Overall this stay was the most breathtaking experience my family and I have ever seen. The staff are wonderful and kind. Expect an amazing trip if you decide to book here. The road to this paradise can be tattered and torn. But the treasure that this magical abode offers is beyond worth it. Worth the time, the money, the effort…. This isn’t a building. This is art installed at the grass of paradise.
We had an absolutely wonderful time at this charming house. The property is beautiful, full of character and unique details with amazing custom tiling. The views from the house are breathtaking, and the peaceful, quiet neighborhood made for a truly relaxing getaway.
Greg was a delight to see every morning when he came by to clean the pool—always friendly and attentive. We were also treated to a delicious home-cooked meal by Mary on our first night. Nesha was also a delight and came by in the middle of the week to freshen up our towels and make sure we had everything we needed.
Renting a car is a must for exploring the area, but be prepared for some adventure. The roads are narrow and a little steep. However, once you get used to it, driving through the dense foliage is an unforgettable experience that adds to the charm of the location. The house is just a short drive to the bottom of the hill, where you can walk along the beach to Sugar Beach, and it's a fairly easy drive into town for supplies or dining.
The house has an open-air design that immerses you in the surrounding nature. I would advise to bring bug spray, as the open-air concept does come with its share of insects and lots of lizards! We left with some bug bites :)
The homeowners were very friendly and easy to communicate with, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this property to others looking for a serene and charming retreat in St Lucia.

Best views in Soufriere!
My family just returned from Villa Piton late last night. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our trip. We knew the view would be amazing from the pictures, but it was even more stunning in person. Mary and Gregory treated us like family whenever they came to upkeep the villa. We were told by the owner Kermit, that Mary's cooking was amazing and that we should try it at least one night so we chose to have her cook the day we arrived since we had a long travel day. The food was so good, we had her cook again the night before we left! We ate at Hotel Chocolat, Ladera, The Mango Tree and Bamboo Restaurant and Mary's cooking was still some of our favorite meals. Blossom checked in with us at the beginning and end of out stay to make sure everything was perfect. They are all the sweetest people. We spent a good part of every day at Villa Piton but highly recommend doing the Tree to Bar experience at Hotel Chocolat and Castaway Tours with Paul and his sister for a history on Carib culture, a cooking lesson and food cooked on the beach in clay pots. Tet Paul Nature Trail was fun, but honestly, the views at the villa were just as good! We chose Soufriere rather than Castries to be in a more quiet area and don't regret it one bit! The road to Villa Piton is VERY narrow and winding, so if you are nervous about the driving, you may want to have Ben's Taxi take you out. We got used to it at the end, but it was quite the experience to say the least!
We were sad to say goodbye to Villa Piton. It was truly paradise!
The property was as beautiful as the photos if not more. Million dollar view. Peaceful. We had a rental car and jaunted to Sugar Beach and Anse Mamin, where we snorkeled right off the beach. Did lots of "nothing" at the villa which was just what we all needed. Thank you Kermit for quick communication when we had inquiries. Thanks to all the staff on site who were so friendly and accommodating.
Villa Piton was is as magical as you can imagine. Difficult to explain to put into words, you just have to go there. Location, management, the villa were exceptional. Kermit was extremely helpful as 6 star ratings ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am from the island of St. Lucia knowing that my island has always been the most beautiful but the views where the villa is located is mesmerizing. I fell completely in love there and definitely plan to go back as soon as the end of this year maybe before.
Miss Mary you are as wonderful as my grandmother when I left home at the age of 12 coming back home after 15 years you filled that loss I had as a child from my family and I thank you for everything.
Kermit thank you again for everything and I will definitely be in contact again.
Thank you and the entire staff for making this magical journey extra special.
Villa Piton when seen in pictures is beautiful instead in person is just WOW ♥️
Villa Piton was a beautiful house in a gorgeous location. Nestled between the Pitons with an incredible view, the open air concept made you really feel at one with nature. The only sounds you really heard were the birdsong or the sea breeze rustling the palms. Kermit, the host, was immediately responsive and helpful, and the local staff at the house were welcoming, kindly, and available when needed. The house itself was well-furnished and clean, featuring local art, and an awesome ambiance. It was not hard to get to from the airport (though if driving I would recommend a good GPS and preferably getting there during the day) and provides easy access to the beautiful Sugar Beach and the challenging Gros Piton Hiking Nature Trail. All in all, I couldn't recommend Villa Piton enough. Hopefully we get a chance to visit again!
