「The sargassum was intolerable. They cleaned it up everyday, but the smell was off-putting. Not the fault of the hotel so no dings for that. Most of the staff were very friendly, but not all. Maybe they don’t care for tourists. Definitely a chill in the air on an otherwise balmy island. If we visit St. Lucia again, we’ll be looking for accommodations a little more upscale. Nice for families in a budget, however. 」

All staff were attentive, even though sometimes was a bit slow when many customers came. The new Asian style restaurant charged us certain amount which we didn’t order, the staff explained that was a mistake due system error. There might still be some thing can be improved.」

「The Royalton Resort on Saint Lucia is in a beautiful location. It is quite a distant ride from the airport (at least 90 minutes - so be prepared). The staff was excellent; very accommodating and friendly. The pool and beach area were very clean and well staffed - offering towels and bar service. The bars provided a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, but don't expect top shelf without extra cost. There was no food service at the outside bars, which would have been a great addition....
