When we looked for accommodation for our first visit to Tunisia we decided to stay in a Dar rather than an impersonal big hotel. Dar Antonia met all our expectations. Located on the edge of the Sousse medina it was ideally placed for exploring the medina but also close enough to the sea front for short walks there. The room was roomy and well furnished. Breakfasts were superb with fruit, bread, pancakes, eggs and unlimited coffee. The roof-top restaurants had some really nice choices - and wine. The staff were really helpful throughout. Dar Antonia is recommended without hesitation.

This beautifully renovated building is over four hundred years old. Highly recommended as a base for exploring Sousse. Helpful staff, incredibly clean and welcoming spaces. Great vibe.

Stunning hotel and even better hospitality. The owner and the team were extremely attentive and kind. They also offer a great breakfast service every morning. It’s right in the center of the Medina so it’s easy to walk around the neighborhood and explore. I highly recommend this hotel.

It’s an excellent accomodation, easy-to-find locatio, rare for a Medina stay. Medieval construnctions weren't built for modern plumbing so odors are present, which is to be expected. Fab breakfast too and great restaurent too.

Un tipico Dar tunisino ristrutturato con gusto, ha vari opzioni tutte belle e con diverse fasce di prezzo. Bello il cortile interno e spettacolare il rooftop, con una piccola piscina dove passare le ore più calde della giornata. La sera potete prenotare il vostro tavolo per la cena sul rooftop, con ottimi piatti, vini tunisini e cocktails. Menzione speciale per lo staff, sorridente, accogliente e sempre disponibile nel soddisfare le nostre richieste. Migliorerei solo la copertura del wifi, non tutte le aree sono adeguatamente raggiunte dal segnale.

A welcoming haven in the medina and a great location near the edge meaning it’s not too far to walk to your car (the hotel tells you where you can park which is nearby). We were so well looked after by the wonderful and very kind Rahma who prepared the most delicious breakfasts every day and delighted in playing with our little daughter. We were sad to leave her! The family room on the ground floor suited us very well.
