「My partner and I came for our first anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better stay! It was everything we wanted. Beautiful scenery, plenty of opportunities for bird and wildlife spotting, a huge expanse of fields to explore, goats to play with, and Harry kindly took us out in his ute for a brilliant morning feeding the cows and bush bashing across the land. Place is clean and tidy before we enter into the house. Kids spent good time in the vineyard, got memorable pictures. Have 1 bath room and water is rain water and/or direct from Murray, need to keep bottle’s pack with you, Navneet has given heads-up on to arrange drinking water. 「What an amazing stay at Pat & Kate’s homestead. Pat and Kate were very welcoming and they provided us with everything that we needed for our stay. The location was amazing and we were treated to feeding the farm animals which was entertaining. They had alpacas, sheep, goats and a miniature bull. The accommodation had everything we needed, the fire pit was great to sit outside under the stars with a bottle of wine and the hot tub was equally as relaxing. 「This was a magical house for my family of 5 to stay in while on Kangaroo Island! The quiet, isolated location with spectacular views was just what we needed and we were spoilt with visits from kangaroos, birds and the local sheep, and to see dolphins in the bay. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind a bit of a drive to get to the island’s main towns.」
