“Absolutely delighted with my recent stay at Amanda's Country Retreat! From the cozy vibes to the stunning surroundings, it was everything we needed and more. First off, can we talk about the accommodations? Super comfy beds, charming decor, and all the amenities you could ask for. I felt right at home the moment I stepped through the door. Amanda's hospitality was second to none. Her warm welcome and genuine care made us feel right at home. She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was……

“Great view. Quiet and private. Nice and cozy for family to bond.”

“We came from four different states. We were a range of ages from 8-73. The place was so well set up for our family. We celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and being a family. The children enjoyed playing cricket and footy with some of the adults. The Bush Mechanic DVD was a hit as we knew most of the actors. Board games were played with much laughter and a little manipulation. Food was eaten in abundance. We really appreciated the fruit bowl, different types of milk and breakfast……

“Every step of the stay was exceptional. The hsots met us when we arrived and ran us through the specifics of the property, and then left us to enjoy our stay. The property is beautiful and the location is amazing.”

“This little cottage was clean, neat, light and the perfect place to explore Robe for a few days. Jill was great in communicating with us and checked in with us during our stay. Everything you might need for your stay is provided down to handwash, teatowells, some basic pantry items to a hair-dryer. It is a short drive into Robe and terrific day trips to Kingston and wineries and brewery.”

“Tolles ursprüngliches Farmhaus in sehr gutem modernen Zustand mit allem, was man braucht. Die Tiere auf der Farm sind lustig, vor allem, wenn man sie mit dem bereitgestellten Futter füttert. Ein zahmes Reh, das das Schaf zur Seite drängt, wenn es um's Fressen geht. 😁. Das weiße Alpaka zeigt dem braunen, wo's langgeht 😂. Tolle Erfahrung für uns Stadtkinder.”

“What a beautiful property. The lake and gardens have many large native birds, sulfur crested cockatoos, yellow tailed black cockatoos, kookaburra, Adelaide Rosellas, as well as smaller birds. The goats have a wonderful playground to enjoy. So fun to watch their antics. One of our guys even caught a fish in the lake on his first day! (Rods provided by the hosts) We were also lucky enough to see 2 koalas in trees beside one of the dirt roads leading down to the main road. The area is lovely and……

“Don’t stay here if you’re expecting some shops around the corner. It’s 23 kilometres from the nearest town, but that’s the good thing about it. Out on a sheep station but with fabulous views over Backstairs Passage, a well equipped kitchen to cook in and a great outdoor deck area. An amble through the fields to a couple of completely private beaches. Swallows nesting in the garage. And yes there is a washing machine”

“Wouldnt call it romantic but Loved the little setup and location. Was perfect to come back chill out & cool off after the day on the river had excellent air conditioner with room to put our Jet Ski undercover and locked away for the night. Is 10minutes from the main town, Waikerie and 2ks from Ramco. Would suggest a TV in the main room, as we had a weekend of 40degress and was unable to sit in the designated lounge area, although it was very nicely set out. Also A few extra kitchen cooking……

“The bush walks are an amazing way to get back to nature, the staff are super friendly & helpful, my dog was welcome. My new home away from home, loved it 😍.”

“The house is beautiful and in a perfect location. It is huge and has a high end kitchen and the master bedroom is a dream! The gardens are lovely and it is well set up for a dog. On the negative side, it needs some maintenance. The lights shorted out, the toilet in the master bedroom ran continuously, and the water had to be turned off after the cistern had filled. There were dirty cutlery in the dishwasher and there were some pans that had been put in the cupboard covered in grease. My son also……
