"Wonderful place with a wonderful owner. We were here in December and in that time of the year, be prepared to have warm clothes. As in every house around, you wear warm clothes inside as well. No central heating but AC in the rooms. The owner of the place is very helpful and everything can be solved thanks to a translation device/application, good mood and patience. " Ok, there is both good and bad with this Hotel. Let's start out with the good. The price was good. The room was clean. The room looked nice. The décor was nice. The view from the Balcony in my room was nice, but the view really depended on the weather. if the weather was bad, you could not see the mountains and were just stuck seeing other buildings It had hot water and decent water pressure. Sheraton Guilin Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice hotel with great staff, but English is barely spoken by one person at the front desk. If you don't speak Chinese, you'll have a tough time, but you can get by with a translator. Conveniently located to dining and a couple of tourist attractions. Breakfast buffet included a good variety of western and Chinese choices. It's a comfortable choice, except that the room had no air conditioning. I'm thinking they just don't let it run in February, so the room was always hot, unless a window was opened. They did help with a fan, though."
