“We spent a long weekend in this lovely beach house with its modern decor and many facilities. It was well placed in the holiday village near to the pub and shop and path to the beach. The path itself was steep in parts but manageable. There is a lovely walk along the beach to Filey. A wondered stay.”

“This wasnt our first time staying in Sewerby but it was our first time at Oyster Cottage..... I can confidently say, it will not be our last.. Sue was great, coms before, during and after our stay were fab. The cottage itself is well situated, very well presented and spotlessly clean with a fantastic private outdoor secure garden to boot. “The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.”
