“I always stay here - it is so comfortable and charming”

“Our room was clean and spacious. We rented the “Gather” which is a little suite with two rooms with king beds, and 1 1/2 bath. The beds were very comfortable and each room has a window air conditioner that you can operate at your comfort level. There is a bar that is self serve 24/7 where you can get spring, or bubbly water and home baked snacks. It was a 20 min walk to the church street marketplace where there are many restaurants and shops to experience, and an additional 10 min walk took you……

“What a wonderful stay. From the abdolutely nice place , beautifuly mentained, to a absolute clean room ,to a very nice loby room with all the amenities needed. The baggels and especialy the raspberry spread that was delicious, not to mention the hospitality the owners oferred was bar none. Mike made sure everybody and everything was great for a nice quiet stay. That makes it for a come back for sure. Absolutely reccomend this wonderful place 100% !!! “Honestly, after a number of disappointing stays recently, we weren't expecting much so we could avoid being disappointed. But, we were anything but. We were in the maple room, which had private access to outside, a nice living room, a small kitchen (no stove), a large bedroom and very comfortable bed, and a semi small bathroom that was laid out well. “We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. There are only 8 rooms in the inn and it has a family feel. Guests seem to really enjoy talking to other guests & sharing local……

“Upon arriving after a long day of travel, we were informed by the front desk staff that although we booked a room for five travelers, there were no such rooms capable of holding five people. Our only option was a room with two queen beds. My husband, three children (ages 15, 18, and 21), and I had no choice. When I asked for a rollaway bed, the front desk clerk informed me that it would cost me $20. Unbelievable. I would be charged for their false advertisement. We then told the clerk that we……
