“The setting is gorgeous. The house is a nice, comfy place to return to after a day of exploring. The beds are very comfortable, the towels abundant, & tv channels endless. The extra touches are nice. The kitchen is stocked w/ enough bakeware to cook really anything. There is so much to do within 30 min...so rich with history. Just make sure you type your destinations in GPS BEFORE you leave the house as service is spotty. The host was quick to respond to messages, but we had everything we……

“My husband, father and I just spent 8 nights at this property. The front porch was completely covered which allowed us to sit out and enjoy the peaceful location even with lots of rain. The pond across the street was generous with its bass! We caught around 10, with a few smaller fish. Toured Gettysburg battlefields and museum which was just 13 minutes away! Would definitely recommend this property if you like a quiet, relaxing area. ”

“We had an amazing weekend stay here! The host even had cute fall decorations out adding to the charm. Very pet friendly—-the gates on the deck and ability for our well behaved dog to be off leash were great perks. The cabin is well stocked with games and anything else you would need. My boyfriend enjoyed cooking burgers on the grill. Wonderful star gazing and the place is surrounded by orchards! So much to do in a small town. Adjacent to hiking and Gettysburg. Tons of golf in the area. Only wish……

“This property was exactly as described and was perfect for our family! It was close enough to the town and all the things we wanted to do but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The host checked on us and was very responsive when needed but really left us to do our thing. The house had modern amenities while still having all of the charm of a century home. Would definitely stay here again! ”
