Great Stay

Comfortable, enjoyable quaint place! We stayed for a week. We enjoyed our stay here. Everything needed was provided. We even did a few loads of laundry and dishes. Perfect location was very ideal for the beach.

I will definitely choose this place again

I loved the design and decoration, the spaciousness in every room. The Main room with big window, own bathroom and balcony acces. Beds very comfortable. Super clean. Cozy and spacious. All appliances worked well. Equipped kitchen has everything we needed. Living room furniture comfortable and elegant. Definitely a nice place to stay more days.

Great location!

This property was perfect for our stay! The beach access was directly across the street with ramp access all the way down to the beach which was great for us with a wagon and little ones. The only inconvenience i experienced— no salt or pepper. I did not expect a full spice drawer but the basic salt and pepper would’ve been nice. Also, the master room bed was noisy and not very comfortable but we managed.

Not a bad price BUT lots of roaches, dishwasher was broke, power went out for 2 hours, and no wifi for 24 hours (corrected as soon as I texted but wrong information was provided at check in). Condo is very outdated. For the price I think I will stay at a beach hotel next time with a large resort pool and room service.

Great Condo but missing amenities

First of all the Condo is in a great place and was very clean when we arrived. However we were very dissatisfied that there was no bbq grill. The pictures shows a grill and I even messaged to confirm there would be one prior to our stay so we could go prepared. They replied saying it was a propane grill and that if it was listed on amenities it would be there. Another inconvenience was the door in the master bedroom (does not lock) and the bed in the master bedroom is horrible. Its a very uncomfortable mattress and kept making loud noises throughout the time it was used.

Great Location

Pros: This condo is in a great, central location. Within walking distance to many restaurants, the grocery store and Gravity Park. Public beach access is right across the street. The unit is very spacious. Our family of five was very comfortable during our week stay. The washer/dryer in the unit was a great added bonus. The beds were also comfortable. The pool is also in a great location. We travelled with a few other families and the pool was enjoyed by everyone. It is very conveniently located. Cons: The condo could use a deep clean. The surfaces and floors were clean, but the baseboards and ceiling/walls look like they have never been cleaned. The couch and dining chairs are in need of a good scrub. It is hard to feel like you are staying in a clean place when the furniture is extremely dingy and visibly dirty. The dishwasher is very old and in need of replacement. You will need to provide your own trash bags. We were only left with the one trash bag inside the trash can. There were dish soap tabs left under the sink and a small bottle of dish soap. No other cleaning supplies are provided. Towels - there are no beach towels in the unit and only five bath towels total - so if you have a need for more than that, bring some of your own.

My family and I take a trip to South Padre annually and have stayed in many condos there. We chose this one because we had stayed in this complex previously and like the location and pool. When we arrived we were initially satisfied with our choice.. that evening we noticed a foul smell in the kitchen. When we went to use the dishwasher, it had black moldy water sitting in the bottom of it and it didn’t work. We reported this to the management company but no ever came to fix the problem during our stay. As I stated, we have stayed in several condos in South Padre. The kitchen was the most poorly equipped kitchen we have seen. The pans had Teflon coating that was peeling off and tainted our food. We could never get the tv in the living space to turn on and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. The mattress in the master bedroom sunk in the middle and was very uncomfortable. One afternoon after spending the day on the beach we went to hang out by the pool where a group of people who were not staying there proceeded to get intoxicated and broke a glass bottle in the pool area (which would later cut my wife’s foot). Two of the men would later get into a fist fight in front of my family. This is no fault of the owners of the condo but added to the experience. For the price to stay in this condo, I recommend staying in a different place.

Don’t do it!

We stayed here 4 July-8 July. We were paid until the 9th but left a day early when 3 cockroaches went crawling by while cooking breakfast. We had already seen many before and looked for a new place but everything was booked. For the cost we paid here it wasn’t worth it at all! The last 3 pictures posted have nothing to do with the condo. The dust in this place will make you sneeze more then you ever have in ur life. I mean dust was even on the ceiling! There is 0 things to do with the beach here. No beach towels, no toys, no chairs, no umbrellas literally nothing for the beach at all! The fridge was broken with a note that said do not open and close the fridge or over load it. Umm how about get a new fridge! They left 2 trash bags for a 5 night stay. Overall this was the worse place we’ve ever stayed at! The cockroach’s were the icing on the cake! They’re in the bathroom, bedrooms, living room, kitchen EVERYWHERE! We never got a working key for the gate, I called and still never got one. A different person staying here gave me their code to get in and out. The AC is controlled by them. When you turn it down they turn it right back up to 78! I could go on for days, do not stay here!

Almost Perfect

This unit is exceptionally located just seconds from the beach. The amenities were just what we needed. The only thing missing was the grill. We could, however, see where there once was one. The only other issue was that there were roaches. Not an infestation by any means. During our 4 night stay, I think we counted maybe 6 or so. We just made sure we put everything in the fridge. The HOA could get an exterminator to come in and the owners could leave a note for guests to warn them to take better care unless they want unwelcomed visitors. Would I stay there again? Yes!

The condo was plenty spacious for our family of 5. We thoroughly enjoyed sipping coffee on the beach view veranda and listening to the ocean. The pool and hot tub were a nice reprieve from the ocean. However, here are a few things that you may want to take into consideration if you are going to stay here: 1. We only received 4 rolls of toilet paper for 4 nights and 5 days of stay, thus we had to go out and purchase more. Also there weren't any Kleenexes in the unit. 2. There were no dishwasher pods in order to run the dishes, so bring your own if you are going to run the dishwasher. 3. There are no beach towels to go enjoy the beach, so bring your own if you don't want to go out and buy them. 4. Pots and pans are sparse as well as cooking utensils. No whisk, very few mixing bowls, no 9x13, very few plates and bowls. My family of 5 had to wash dishes daily. Other than those few minute things, we had a great stay!

Good place to stay if you are young and want to party!

The condo is not kept up very well. A few minor repairs would make a world of difference. Like the shower handles in both bathrooms! They were broken off. The front door does not stay shut unless you use the deadbolt. The pool and hot tub very disgusting! Very loud music blaring from other patios! Roaches on the kitchen walls. No batteries in the tv remotes. The owners obviously don’t care, just looking to make a buck.
