Ideal Place to Stay!

This place is the ideal place for a South Padre stay. It is so close to all the great restaurants, shops, and other leisure activities. We were having issues with the WiFi and our host took care of it immediately. The property is so close to everything in South Padre and it has a private pool! Plus it is a 4-5 minute walk to the beach.

Beautiful, great location but lacked essentials

The home was beautiful and very well decorated. Great location. But if you are going to stay here plan to have to buy just about everything you’ll need. There was no hand soap, laundry detergent to wash towels, extra paper towels, trash bags, broom, salt & pepper , coffee/filters, ect.. The house doesn’t have blankets so come prepared. Our family loves staying at vacation rentals because they usually go above and beyond to ensure that guests have what they need and can enjoy their experience to the fullest. The gate lock to get in the pool and back was broken, broken coffee table and hand rail for the stairs so added a bit of safety concerns with young children. But the homeowners really did do a great job creating a beautiful space. Our kids loved to pool! The management team was quick to respond.

Great vacation house!

House and pool was very clean! WiFi was easy to access. The AC system was awesome. The house had everything that we were looking for. Excellent place to enjoy a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend this place as our family of 4 greatly enjoyed our the stay!

Overall good place

It is a beautiful home and located to anything you would want to do. The management was quick to respond. Only thing negative I would say compared to other rentals I have stayed is it had no extra blankets, bedding, cleaning supplies or kitchen basics like salt, pepper, coffee pot,trash bags, ect. But it was great stay.

Nice home but cleanliness and wifi could be better.

Everything is good overall but the wifi is slow, the pool was dirty, there’s birds dropping everywhere near the pool and the bbq grill was out of propane so not useable.

Nice, but needs improvements

We had issues having to punch in the code multiple times every time we came in the front door. Also there were two 6 inch circular spots by the stairs that were repaired but not painted also 3 large pots by the pool contained dead plants and were an eyesore. The place was otherwise well kept and furnished.

Family vacation

First off the only reason this isn’t a very good review is how clean it was. Immediately after checking in we found an empty beer can out by the pool and a vape pen. This wouldn’t have been an issue with just adults but we had our four girls with ranging from ages 4 to 16. Then we noticed in the kids bedroom with bunks that the white top sheet had some stains in it which should have been addressed. The main bedroom with the king bed had many issues. The shower was disgusting with stains around the edges like it hadn’t been cleaned . It also had hair all over. The drawers all had either dirt or hair inside them too that we had to clean prior to using . Dishes were not clean, etcThe table downstairs by the couch was almost ready to fall over. The oven buttons didn’t work at all so we couldn’t use that. Just a nightmare honestly We tried to address with management and sent pictures and videos via text like they asked but only to keep getting texts and messages from other numbers having to start back over again . Eventually we just said the heck with it. I asked for some sort of refund which they offered 50 and I just laughed . I eventually knew we weren’t getting any compensation so I just opted for late checkout so we could get out at our own time. This place needs a lot of attention and management needs to fix a lot of things in this house.

The inside with fairly clean but outside area was trashed.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. The interior was cleaned but it was very obvious no one ever even looked outside. The back yard, front yard, and pool all had beer cans and trash everywhere. The pool drain was completely filled with beer cans that it couldn’t even filter anymore. Someone had recently partied here. The outdoor shower was blocked by boxes. We found more beer in a McDonalds bag in a random cabinet inside. While maintenance did come clean up the boxes, the beer cans were not picked up. We were looking forward to swimming with our daughter but the mess deterred us.

By far the best rental

We have done other rental in other cities/states and nothing comparable with this place. Very cleaned and excellent conditions. A nice to have is the pool is not heated so for staying around this time of year (winter) would be an excellent plus to make this place the perfect one for all year. Thanks Vacasa and Robert who follow up our check in/out and staying.

Amazing

The condo was beyond any of our expectations. It was fully stocked with all the essentials needed for us to enjoy our stay, from the outdoor BBQ pit to all the kitchen amenities. Local grocery store was literally half a block away and beach as well. Will definitely stay here everyone we visit South Padre.

Such a beautiful home

The place it’s self is perfect the pool the rooms and location was perfect! We just wished the Wi-Fi worked. We brought our own cleaning stuff just because we read the past reviews and decided to be safe not sorry. Pool was clean and the yard was in great condition. The property manager was super polite and responded fast. We loved our stay and home to come back again soon!

We enjoyed our stay, but it could have been better. The Bad: The front entrance and backyard were dirty (a lot of sand in backyard and sticky spots on the entrance tiles). We had to hose down a suspicious sticky mess by the trash cans that was really gross. If you are a super tidy person, bring all your own cleaning supplies. I like to keep my area clean, but all the cleaning supplies must have been locked away. I understand locking away some cleaning supplies, but not all. Some basic supplies should be provided. We purchased a broom, sanitizing wipes, cleaning spray, and hand soap for the master bathroom. Also, cooking utensils were extremely basic (two pots, two pans, ONE knife). We purchased a baking sheet, cutting knives, potato peeler, potato masher, and a can opener. If more than 1 person wants to drink coffee, bring your own mugs, as there was only one mug for the household. There were glasses, but we had to decide to burn our hands or drink cool coffee when using them. Lastly, 7 people had to share one key for this home over 5 days. The manager said he would bring us a second key, but he must have forgot. Side note: This home came with dishwashing pods, but did not have a dishwasher. All dishes had to be washed by hand and there was not a dish rack to dry them. We just placed them on a towel. This is not a big deal if you're not paying a high premium for a nice modern house.The Good: Vacasa Management was very responsive. They got the electrical company to our property very promptly after we told them that the electric pole in the backyard was spraying sparks on the property. The electrical company did a quick repair and we felt safe swimming again. The master bedroom/bathroom was huge. The location was perfect, easy walk to grocery store and beach. This house is beautiful, but could use a few touches here and there. For example, there aren't any rugs or mats near entrance or back door. We laid down a towel to keep people from slipping at the backdoor after swimming. Just little details here and there would make this place great, or a 5.

Perfect house

The house was really nice, would definitely stay here again. Beach was walking distance. Have groceries store right at the corner as well walking distance. The house was really beautiful and plenty of space for my family of 7. Didn't have a broom or iron but we texted the owner and they brought it the next day. House was like new. Would rate a 10 if I could.
