"The room gets a bit warm on the intervals where the A/C goes off (it wasn't like that on our first visit, it kicked back on more frequently). But the staff was nice, beds are comfy."

"The hotel is clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated at both the river walk and reasonable walking distance from the convention center. There is a french bakery across the street, the hotel has decent restaurants, and there are great places to eat and steakhouses nearby. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the first I was supposed to get there, the hotel was overbooked and I had to spend the night in a very shady motel they booked for me. Otherwise, had a fantastic stay."

"This hotel enjoys an ideal location. The Historic Market, Riverwalk, La Villita and the San Fernando Cathedral are all an easy walk. The hotel itself would benefit from a facelift. It feels tired and dated. Ancient carpeting, bathrooms that haven’t been updated in decades and a brown/beige color palate. Yuck. However, the staff are pleasant and the breakfasts are adequate. In brief, a disappointing experience at over $300 a night!!! Hugely overpriced. "
