「We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back! 」

「This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion.
Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...

「Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size.
Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. 」

「On our arrival, we were greeted warmly by the receptionist who informed us we had been upgraded for our one-night stay. This was a lovely surprise and the room was fabulous. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We felt so relaxed and didn’t leave the hotel.
We booked in for a meal which was fantastic. It was a busy evening as there was a party but it didn’t impact on our evening. The service was excellent and staff were attentive and accommodating but not overbearing.

「The setting of this BnB is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was perfect nothing fancy just exactly what you need, we specifically enjoyed the homemade rhubarb compote! The room was part of a converted barn and really cosy. The host was lovely. 」
