“Great experience. Very nice inside and out and great "train" atmosphere. Bed was comfortable and the features were just as described. i would stay there again if ever in Joplin again. we were there for a baseball tournament in Pittsburg KS.”

“I stayed here on the last leg of a cross country trip with my pup. I chose it because of the huge fenced-in yard and remote setting. The yard...I would describe it more as "grounds". It's such a pretty space with a walking path all the way around it and flowers in bloom. It's very charming and peaceful, which I wanted for a recovery day. Communication with the host was very timely and they came out when I arrived late in the evening to make sure I found my way ok. I appreciated that. I wasn't……

“We used the Riverton Old Post for a short stay in the middle of a long road trip between New Orleans - Oklahoma and Atlanta. It proved to be a great base to meet relatives in Miami and Joplin as we couldn't find any other suitable accommodations in those places. This is a wonderful nostalgic property and was one of the most comfortable places we stayed at during our whole trip.
