“Hotel Houze — Downtown Detroit, Michigan Not Recommended When I first arrived, I was assigned to Room 04, which had not been cleaned. I was moved to another room, but the issues didn’t stop there. The hotel looks more like a motel from the inside, with a metallic appearance on the upper floors. The quality of the sheets was very poor. they appeared yellow and brownish, suggesting the laundry machines are either dirty or using harsh chemicals that discolor the linens. “Our room was excellent. It was clean, the bed was so comfortable and the jacuzzi tub in the room was big and relaxing!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good. We had scrambled eggs, sausage links Bagels and fresh fruit the first morning. We had hash browns and biscuits and gravy and fruit the second morning. All of it was delicious. The pool was a little cold but we swam anyway. The hot tub was perfectly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!”

“I and my colleague, We had a great stay at Hampton Inn Detroit/Auburn Hills-North. The breakfast was good — omelettes, sausage, potatoes, bagels , DIY waffles, with some healthy options available too. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. The location is perfect — just next to the outlet, and it’s very convenient for dining and shopping. Highly recommend this hotel!”
