"Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts."

"The villa is perfect!! Location, views, layout, amenities, just everything! The pictures do not come close to actually being there and seeing it yourself. The views of the water and sunset were spectacular. The house itself is very well appointed and I am buying the same coffee maker for myself! We easily drove 30 minutes or so in every direction of the villa to all the amazing waterfalls, craters, beaches, and more around the golden circle of Iceland. We spent the evenings on the massive deck...

"We had room no 6, with a big balcony and a huge private bathroom across the hall. Unobstructed view to the fields. Had the hot tub to ourselves on a snowy night. Delicious and greatly varied breakfast, while the host was telling us interesting things about the area. Also a smart tv in the room, if you want to watch your Netflix. I was a bit confused about the private washrooms at first, they are on the hallway, but had the same number on the door as the room"
