“You get what you pay for. Free WiFi and parking were useful during my stay.”

“This place was perfect. It is in a good location. Convient to a lot of things. We booked a quick weekend get away as we have busy lives at home. We have not visited a cabin like this but it was definitely worth it. We would definitely stay here again. They have thought of everything.”

“This was a great cabin! Exactly what we needed, was comfortable and relaxing. Bed was comfortable and the location was perfect.”

“Everything was perfect! Hope to book this location again in the future.”

“Loved being on the river! The neighbors where so sweet”

“Just need upgrade”

“Stayed in cabin #2 for the weekend and it was fantastic. Has all the amenities you need for a relaxing and quiet getaway. Our small dog also had a great time. Great communication from host, very accommodating. You will certainly need 4wd to get up to the site, full size truck or SUV with a little ground clearance.”

“Such a cute little cabin! My boyfriend and I enjoyed making smores at the fire pit. My only complaint was the factory across the street being a bit loud when you’re sitting outside but this place still deserves 5 stars! Hoping it’s available again for the Mothman festival next year”

“It was such a cute cabin, clean, cozy and welcoming! Nice walk out to the river, it was nice to find a place so cozy and dog friendly. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Comfy beds made sleep simple after long days of hiking nearby.”

“We had a fantastic time. 2 adults 2 tweens 2 dogs. Dog and kid paradise. The house is older but it got everything you need. Full kitchen with a huge table, which we loved to hang out in. 2 comfortable bedrooms. My older child slept on an inflatable mattress in the living room, he loved having his own space. Great location. Host thought of every little thing you might need, cups, plates, silverware, trash bags, he even left a self care package including lotion, shampoo, shaving cream etc. the……

“Very clean, perfect for what we needed, which was a place to relax, eat, watch some tv and sleep after white water rafting.”

“It’s not fancy, but if you’re looking for an affordable, convenient place to use as a base for visiting New River Gorge, this worked well for us. Clean, good communication with owner. 15 minute drive to the bridge, restaurants, gas, etc.”

“One of the nicest places we have ever stayed! Very clean, outside area is so nice and you all thought of everything one might need for their stay.”

“Host was responsive to problems we encountered upon arrival, but they should have been addressed prior to arrival through housekeeping management. The kitchen was not well stocked with dinnerware, so come prepared if you have a full house. You’re at a train crossing, so be prepared for train horns and crossings 24/7.The cabin had comfortable beds and lounge furniture and the air conditioning was good. Would stay again if our favorite spot is unavailable.”

“This was a lovely room. It was unusually large and the bathroom was also very spacious. The grocery store is right next door and the main street is only about 1-2 minute walk away. So you can hit any of the downtown stores/restaurants without driving.Grocery store had a significantly larger selection of items than a small town usually has, so that was a big perk! We weee very pleased.”

“There’s a lot of bad things I could say about this cabin. But the worst thing was (the wiring). I was worried the cabin would catch on fire. Some of the light fixtures were loose in the walls. Especially the kitchen. We did not use the hot tub. We were informed that if water was spilled out it would trip the electric breaker box.”
