「Walking distance to the beach and a cute shopping strip with plenty of restaurants. They're under construction but you can't hear it going on. Arthur and Rohan were very helpful and friendly. 」

「The hotel was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the rooms are showing their age and have carpets that look a bit unhygienic. The bathroom is also very used, so everything could use a renovation. Another note: There is no proper breakfast in the hotel. Only sweet snacks (muffins, donuts and chocolate bars) and coffee/water are provided. Despite everything, the hotel can definitely be recommended for a short stay.」

「We enjoyed our stay. Location was great. Pool and beach were nice. Owner easy to work with. Answered all our questions in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again.」

「Really great house: comfortable, clean, spacious! The only thing that was a bit annoying is that the porch is not covered and we were literally covered with the foliage from all the surrounding trees. Therefore, we couldn’t use the porch for eating, which was such a pity as we wanted to fully enjoy the nature and the wonderful weather. But, again, the house is great and really well maintained. 」

「Cottages are Close enough to everything but definitely would want to drive and use the public parking lot for beach access. Our unit was clean, nice (but dated) definitely felt for the price it should have had more updated decor. We did enjoy the community though and the location to the pool was great! Would stay again.」

「We really enjoyed our return to L'Auvent and it was even better the second time which is hard to believe.Super clean and sophisticated. Excellent communication as always. Hopefully we will be returning soon as we love this place and this town. Southern coney for pancakes, Nectar chicken waffles, Relish Mongolian beef and wonton soup all an easy bike ride away. not to mention the beach and Coligny shopping a block away. 5+ star stay.」

「This is not ocean view/ocean front. You can walk a short distance or ride in a golf cart shuttle to beach. All was clean but checkin difficult. Gatekeeper didn't have my name to give me my parkng pass to allow entry, had to call owner & wait awhile for response. ( they shud be awaiting your arrival near their phone to help w any probs upon checkin) It was getting dark & difficult to see apt & bldg #s & this place is HIGE I had to ask ppl staying at this property to help me find this apt....

「Just what we needed. Beach, bike rides and fantastic seafood dinners in the Low Country. The condo was in the perfect location and enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio before heading out to the beach. We will be back!」

「Shaneka is a wonderful host who is prompt in all communications. The condo is very well located and a minute's walk from the beach. Great restraunts and other points of interest at the island are all a short drive away. All amenities were well thought of and we had a pleasant stay overall. The only hitch we had was the AC, which did not work during our stay. But to the host's credit, maintenence was informed and they came to fix it, albeit unsuccessfully. It happens, but we look forward to...
